Off to have eyes tested today, still not allowed to drive since operation 2 weks ago so am going to town onthe Tesco free bus that runs on a Wednesday from round the corner!
Of course i shall have to pop into tesco whilst i am there! Must be careful what i buy as not allowed to lift too much! Will definately have a brouse!

Had a horrible day yesterday doing my EOY's (so sorry for Lala, as she has it to come:mad:). Mega problem with updated BPT's. Phoned Mr. IR's online technical services and was advised to do a,b,c etc... Started again fron scratch, a couple of hours later the problem still existed. Another call to Mr. IR technical services. Totally different advice, including deleting the data file (:eek:). When I questioned doing that, she told me not to worry, it would still be there as if I was a three year old! After another few instructions, (with her keep putting me on hold whilst she sought advice from IT- and I thought that she was supposed to be IT!) the call finished. Needless to say really but when I tried to do what she'd said, it didn't work and the database file was not still there! :mad: Luckily I had it backed up on another device.
Call number three got me another person, again with different advice after consulting with IT whilst I was kept on hold again. Forty minutes later, my problem 'appears' to be resolved. I say 'appears' as she then advised me 'that you won't be able to file them anyway because the site is down until 6.00am tomorrow (today now) so that they can do maintenance work to upgrade the BPT's, which should eradicate the problems that you have been experiencing.' :mad::mad: Why couldn't I have been told this in phone call number one, instead of wasting most of yesterday? I asked to speak to her supervisor/team leader etc to explain how frustrated I was with the service that I had received. She asked me if I wanted to complain and if so, there was nobody there that I could talk to about it. I asked for an email address for someone that I could pass my comments onto. The resonse was 'there is no email address, you have to put it in writing to the Online Customer Services Complaint Team @ .....
Sums it up really, us plebs have to do it online, on time or be fined. They do their upgrades when we have to complete EOY's and they won't let us comment on line, we have to post it to them!

Another sunny good morning from my neck of the woods.
Yesterday started off just as sunny and beautiful but by 2pm we were frozen and drenched in a hail (sp?) storm. Talk about 2 extremes in 1 day! I expect it will be similar today, although met office suggests rain won't be here til 4-ish....should I hang the washing outside?!
Many thanks to everyone for the fab finds over the last few days - am hoping to get to Ts later with my list! I could really do with a loo roll glitch!!

OMG that's crazyThe IR can be so frustrating - my DH has to talk to them every now and again; sometimes I just sit there open mouthed listening to his end of the converstation! He hangs on for about 45 mins or longer just to get through. Let's hope it is all sorted later for you.

have just been trying to think what I can do to make Lala feel better as it really knocked her back yesterday when they told her the stitches could not come out yet:(My plan for today is to get all the lovely things we have bought so so cheap over the resent weeks ,put it all in the lounge and then with her guidence get it all priced up for when we do our first Boot Sale.I think if I do this it will give her something to focus on and give her the lift she needs:)I also need a bit of a lift so before I go up to see Lala I am going to put a colour on my hair as I have a lot more grey hair coming through(I wonder why that is?);)0 -
