Got this off a regular on here and very tasty it is and easy to do.
Hope they don't mind me posting the recipe. Mushy pea curry. They did post a pic.
The sauce is made with 2 tins mushy peas, 1 tin baked beans and 1 tin tomatoes, curry spices
(I used curry powder, coriander, cumin, garlic powder and chilli powder) and blitz till smooth.
Then stir fry veg and meat, stock cube and add the sauce, simmer for 20 mins and voila.
Sounds disgusting but tastes like chinese/chippy curry.
Makes a ton of sauce but I freeze it in portions for later
Was just gonna suggest this Tweets:T:T That was me posted it as a SW dish
Yep thats my favourite use for mushy peas....planning on making it tomorrow too though never saw the 8p mushy peas today:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -

Christmasshopper, I just kept adding and tasting, and to be honest if you just have basic curry powder it tastes just as good, the only reason I had the rest of the stuff is because my brother buys his spices in bulk and I raided his larder for some. The peas, tomatoes and beans are all value range in my house and like you say it is a great and cheap way to hide veg for those who don't eat them:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -

I got loads of whoopsied veg for pennies this afternoon so massive veggie version of this for me tomorrow. Here's the pic:heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -
Ah double drat
You lot must love my antics
My sis says the h and m gift card is only for a min spend of ten pound
Already set off for town can any one tell me if this is true?
Hi all,
Just catching up so not sure if anyone replied....and its a bit late now anyway but....my SIL asked a SA in H&M and she said it was min £10 spend but we tried anyway and bought 3 things all £3 or under and got the voucher each time - it just prints on the receipt. You have to spend £10 to use the £5 off voucher and its valid 16th - 29th April. I asked the SA if you could use more than 1 voucher per transaction and he said yes you could use as many as you have .....that seems a bit too good to be true though!!
Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!!0 -
