    Well folks, I did it. I bought my i-phone :j:j:j

    I managed to do my SIM card all by myself :T and it all works lovely and fine

    And its mostly thanks to you lot for me being able to afford to buy it outright...if i hadnt found you, i'd still be spending £30-£40 a week on grocery shopping rather than the £30-£40 a month I'm spending now

    So what (free!) apps are good for MSE'ing then?

    Well done :T:T:T

    Once you've had one you will wonder how you did without it!

    There is a free app for mysupermarket but I don't find it anywhere near as good as the website.

    There's a free Tesco Groceries app for checking prices when you are in store. Also a free Asda app useful for JTD shops. Sainsburys have one too but I don't really use it much. MyVoucherCodes, moneysupermarket, voucher cloud and 08 Saver (for alternative telephone numbers to the 08xx for inclusive calls) all have apps too :)

    In my store today I went to the chocolate aisle, yes I know a fruitless and worthless effort to find reduced Easter eggs which I cant eat anyway. I did though spot boxs of Thorntons mint chocolates but the price checking machine was not working in my store :mad: I didnt want to risk going through SS with them to check prices

    I've never actually found anything for 1p in any store - I should really find the list or make an excel chart of items and barcodes. Now I've used up all of my conditional spends I can go back to doing small shops again

    (got three of the £5 wys £40 left over but might not use unless there is a massive glitch this week or a huge JTD voucher to be had or a good MOC or even better a combination of all three)

    Wombling in the rain - part deux

    OMG that was stressful! Not many wombles to be had today but those that were there are now safely with me! Got soaked walking round the carpark :( but out of the 6 receipts I managed to safely retrieve one has 35 points and another 65 points!:T Wet wombles have a nasty habit of tearing just as you try to undo them,either that or the numbers at the bottom are illegible :D.

    And I got a DTD! Possibly the smallest in history as it was accidental :eek: Whoopsied fruit priced at 10p was nicely scanned by SA at the old price of 69p, according to CS when she handed me the 59p " strictly speaking it's not an overcharge" um strictly speaking that's exactly what it is! So "just this once" she gave me another 59p...it was really nice of her I did appreciate her kindness.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    And I paid my bill of £4 instore with 11 wombled pricechecks!

    :T:T:T

    Disappointingly small amounts of cash involved today but every l1ttle h£lps!

    Nor have I :( perhaps they think I've already had enough!
