Well, I tried to pick up that male 3rd appendage but he decided that he was too hung over yet again to be bothered to go see his son this afternoon.
Told me, after 30mins of me ringing him, that he would try to get up this evening. Needless to say I gave him what for, told him he was being dumb as most dads would give their right arm to be given the chance to see their kid as often as they wanted. I told him if he was any sort of dad he'd have been at the hospital since his son was admited and not have left instead of getting drunk!
Anyway baby is doing good apart from pulling his canula out while I was there. My cousin was upset about them having to put a new one in that she couldn't hold him, so I did my best to comfort him while they were doing so. He was so good:A, only crying out when they put the needle in, once that was done he was fine. They've put a different dressing on to see if this stops him pulling it out but have said if he gets another 2 days IV antibiotics he may not need another one sited.
His bloods have come back with some sort of skin infection but my cousin couldn't undersand what the doc was going on about other than the fact that the baby should be allowed home Tuesday at the earliest. :TSPC #329 £471/£500 banked
SPC 2014 £1100:D

I've rad all the books and they were great ( and I am 40 plus years old!) didn't watch the films in case they ruined the books which films so often do but bit the bullet today and will be watching all the rest now too.
Oh I know exactly what you mean. I watched Twilight first then I read all the books, then again, then again....and then again :rotfl:So because I love the book Twilight much more than the film I was very apprehensive about watching the other films after reading the books (yes it sounds melodramatic but I truly love it and like you I didn't want it ruined) But I needn't have worried.
Was it Twilight you watched today?
Out of all the films, Twilight is the one that is furthest away from the book so if you liked that one, you're going to LOVE the others :T There are many things Catherine Hardwicke changed that I feel detract from the beauty of the book but Twilight was shot as an indie movie with a far smaller budget than the others so it has a very different feel to the subsequent titles. Once they realised the blockbuster they had on their hands, the budget was ramped up and the others are much longer so more of the storyline is followed. New Moon I feel is closest to the book and is shot beautifully. I was concerned about Eclipse because the director, David Slade is a bit 'out there' but he did a fantastic job too:j And Breaking Dawn Part 1...all I can say is Awwwwwwwwwwwww :A:A'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -
I have an intresting question for you all....
Remember last week when we were all waiting for the late price checks to come and they eventually turned up 4 days late on the Thursday.
Well I've just had an email sayingTesco Price Check – Cannot find your receipt details for Receipt # XXXX - 02/04/2012 Sorry, unfortunately we have been unable to find your receipt details, so we cannot show you price check results for your shopping. Please try re-entering your receipt details and we will try again to find them.
I'm obviously thinking it's not a good idea to input the details in again and let them send me another one... :A
Just thought it was rather strange.
ETA:
So I put the details in again just to see what would happen and the results came straight to my inbox another £13 JTD....those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Wetherspoons Coffee Cards can only be used upto 30th April, it doesn't say this on the website but it is displayed by the coffee machine in the restaurants and has been confirmed by customers services. Some Wetherspoons may continue to accept them but at the discretion of the manager. So, if you have any fully stamped Wetherspoons coffee cards make sure you use them up by the end of the month or check with the manager whether this applies to their store.
Coffee card itself has no expiry date, nothing is on the Wetherspoons website, so it could catch a few people out:mad:.Starting comping middle of October 2011: Wins so far: 2 x concert tickets, a year's supply of Tetley Tea / Tetley mug, F+F 5 shirt with satchel bag:j0 -

My 2nd set of books have been earmarked! I want the special edition set in the white covers. They're beautiful I just want them to look at! :rotfl: I'm thinking that a chunk of my WHS giftcards shall be spent on those. O/T I also plan on getting Bakerella's cake pop kit and the Primrose Bakery book (already have Hummingbird and I want the rival)
Yes ok back to Twilight.....
1. Twilight
2. New Moon
3. Eclipse
4. Breaking Dawn
Stephenie Meyer also wrote Twilight from Edward's perspective called Midnight Sun. Unfortunately when she was 2/3 of the way through someone leaked it on the internet:(:(:( So she gave up writing and posted what she'd done so far on her website so it was available for everyone.
Anything you'd like to ask go for it and as I said if you'd like the PDFs, PM me your emailI got into it when the 1st movie was released and at that time it was so huge that it was impossible to get the books at the library, the waiting list was months long which is why I bought the PDFs from Ebay. But now I think you'd be able to hire them quite quickly if you'd prefer to read them away from the PC.
Vampire Diaries is fantastic :j But I haven't read those books and I haven't got into Being Human.
The next stories I want to read are The Hunger Games
I bought the hunger games from the works a couple of weeks ago for £5 with free next day delivery for all 3 books
They are currently on offer at the book people for £4.99 but not sure if you have to pay delivery0 -
