Poor grammar/spelling annoys me like you wouldn't believe! Stupid substitutions like your reference kadison of 'pacific' instead of 'specific' !!! And not using your/you're or there/their/they're in the correct context. Texting has made some people so lazy  When I had my first mobile phone at age 12ish, it was understandably all the rage to write in text speak but I actually make a point of typing even texts in proper English now
Crocs _pale_ Choos :happyhear:drool: Heels :T When my joints allow I live in heels....QOC can testifyShoes are my 'thing'
H&M giftcards...ooooh sounds promising! :j

Next time the SA asks if you are ok, point to the receipt and say, thats my receipt and I need it
Well its not as if you are lying as it is yours (under the finders keepers law) they will either shuffle off as its too much like hard work or they will help you, either way you win
I was too surprised to see her to say anything but next time that womble will be mine!
Me thinks I am a mere womble in training (saw that on someones sig - sorry can't remember whose it was) compared to some - I too park at the furthest point in the car parks so I can stroll past more trolley bays the extra exercise is good but alas finding 1p TCOs and TPOs has taken its toll :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:[/QUOTE]
I walk up and down the "roads" in the car park as well as check out the trolley bays, I pick anything up except those right by the entrance in view of the security guard!
Some of mine are screwed up beyond belief ... although I picked up a screwed up one from the "foliage" yesterday, opened it up in the car and it had an insect in it :eek::eek: , I will only pick up non-mangled ones in the undergrowth from now one!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -
My new disguise0 -
I had a sticky situation with this type of behaviour yesterday- lots of the trolleys in the Wales T's are the kind that need a £1 coin so all the trolleys are tightly wedged together:mad: impossible to slide apart for swift womble removal, I know, I tried!
There was a nice womble stuck right in the middle , couldn't leave it and no-one was about so was trying to prise it between the trolleys. It was having none of it,each time I tried I was pushing it further away:eek: As if by magic (Mr Benn style) a T's SA appeared behind me and asked me if I was OK:eek::eek::eek:
Yes thanks I said and shuffled off...I'm not sure how much she saw!
Next time I am taking a pair of tweezers to avoid such a situation.

The home town store I'm completely lost:o I will have to start planning a womble route here:D0 -

Afternoon lovlies. Very busy day, and enjoyable. Been on the freebus to village and to some of the museums. Hopefully children are tired out!
Now. OT but hey! Does anyone know about lime putty and plaster? Ive taken plasterboard off and the gypsum stuff so its back to brick. Need to use lime for damp issue purposes and breathability. So, would it be best to put putty with hair onto brick then lime plaster or better still to leave a small space via batons?
TIAPlease don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -
I have 7 "trolley" tokens in my bag that I have found over my wombling lifetime, they come in handy as you can't spend them, luckily only 1 T's I go to uses coins the rest are free, I have had 1 close shave where 5 large trolleys that I hoofed out the way were hurtling towards a brand new BMW, I had to run to catch them

Are you good at running in 5 inch heels then?Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Are they likely to 'free up' over time or should I bite the bullet and buy a new keyboard for it?life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0
