    Raspberries £3.75 down to £1.50
Thai fishcakes £5 down to £3
Spiced iced buns (they are delish) 95p down to 50p - yet the date is 17 April..?
    And finally a pizza £4.75 down to £1.. :D

Yea those m&s whoopsies are well good if you can get em! I meant to go down to my local m&s simply food today as theyr closed tmrw but was wayy too busy at home!
May go on monday as its bank holiday they're open reduced hours 9-6 unlike Morrisons, Tesco etc which seem to be open near normal hours even though its a bank holiday!

Well the rain kept away, in fact it stayed sunny, but cold, so I got the stuff out of the storage units into the van and then we had a little wander around Lidl picking up a few bits, then called at Asda for neighbour's ciggies and got fish & chips for dinner again on way home. After eating, Alan went to bed and was getting up a bit later to watch some of the golf from The Masters at Augusta, but I just looked in and woke him, and he said he'll just stay in bed ...... he was asleep again before I closed the door ;)

so I have poured out my nicely chilled blackcurrant flavoured Pear Cider and ........ whoops, half of it gone already :o

i reused a bag when i bought a single 1p item. that 1 point is worth 4p in clubcard rewards. :rotfl:

I do this all the time.

But i think of it as 1p paid and 1p earned = free

Good job I looked on here. I thought the shops were open tomorrow and shut on Monday. Don't know how I mixed that up. I didnt get any bargain food but i got a Toshiba upscaling DVD player from A's for £15, bought the same one last week for £19 and thought that was a bargain.

FAB whoopsie shop for me tonight. Loads of stuff for 10p :T:T
Found several tapas items, so paid to take them away.
Also managed to get a couple trays of pansies for 60p. They had lots of the hanging baskets too with the date up tomorrow. The girl doing the reductions said she'd have to ask her manager what they were going down to....and I overheard him tell her that it would still be Ok to sell them on Monday. I didn't think this was technically allowed?

I also met my very first friend of Martin. I had seen him several times in the whoopsie aisles and guessed he might be one of us ;). So I plucked up courage and wheedled his name out of him......and have now forgotten it :o:o....but it was nice meeting you and thanks for the cookies :A
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I wasn't aware we HAD a topic :rotfl: but seriously, why has he/she cancelled? That sounds pretty unprofessional unless it was for a good reason

Got an email from the hairdressers husband to say that the hairdresser has been diagnosed as clinically depressed and will therefore not be doing my wedding hair, was really upset as had really liked the hairdresser when i booked her and now cant find a new one that doesnt charge the earth!! The cynical part of me wonders if its true or whether she has just got a bigger job on, as i only had her booked for hair/make up for me and my sis.

Im always suspicious like that! i would be tempted to get a friend to call her and pretend shes making enquiries, see if shes still taking bookings!

Hope you find someone that you are just as happy with to do your hair and makeup for the big day! Have you asked on the wedding thread for local recommendations? Do you still have time to book a trial run to see if you like her work?

finally had a go at the gift card thing. Did it twice with one sa, then went to another sa who did it but wasn't very happy. left store and came back about half hour later and they wouldn't let me buy a gift card paying with one., so just bought card & stamps.

there was also a strange promo of buy a paper and get £1 of a card (not the 25%off cards that others reported)

so spent £11.50 of my money, I have 4 cards, 4 papers (not that I read them) a book of 1st class stamps and a £15 gift card with a decent expiry date.

Till spit for £5 off £12 spend on kids books. Had a look but too expensive really.

If nothing else will buy more stamps before the end of the month or if brave enough will try this again.:j

    Whsmith is old news now,
    Time for h&m
today i saw this fabulous offer.
Buy something for £1 and you will get £5 gift card to spend in store (16-29 april minimum£10)

    :)
