I was trouted on my second lot of Lindt bears. Some won't agree with me for this but I complained to Tesco about the attitude of the staff involved and how I was made to feel like a criminal. This is their response...
Dear Mr Chappy,
Thank you for your email addressed to our Chief Executive, Philip Clarke to which I have been asked to reply.
I was sorry to learn of the problems you had experienced in the Tesco Aberdeen Extra store on 2nd April, when you attempted to purchase Lindt Christmas Bears at the reduced price of 1p. We know how important it is to provide our customers with an excellent service and I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the disappointment we have caused you on this occasion.
I have spoken to ****** ******, the Manager of the Aberdeen Extra store who has investigated the incident with ****** ******, the Duty Manager who spoke to you when you were in the store on Monday. Ian has confirmed that he had mistaken the Lindt Chocolate Bears for an Easter product and had presumed it was a pricing error. However, he now appreciates his mistake and has asked Allan to pass on his sincere apologies for the way in which he handled the incident.
I was also sorry to learn that some of the bears were removed from your basket at the self service checkout. Although we will always try to cater for customers buying any large quantities, we operate a Bulk Buying Policy, whereby it may be necessary to restrict the amount requested in order to meet the overall demand by other customers. Please accept my sincere apologies that this was not explained to you when you were in the store.
Whilst I am unable to alleviate the disappointment caused with regards to the service you received in the Tesco Aberdeen Extra store, I have arranged for a £5 Tesco Moneycard to be sent to you. Please accept this with my compliments and best wishes.
Many thanks once again for contacting the Chief Executive's Office and allowing us to address this issue on your behalf.
Kind regards,0 -

Question:
5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 x 0 = ?
I know what the answer is, however don't believe that it's a simple question and basic maths. More a trick question type which people have forgotten over the years how to do.
Answer is 15. Order of operations applies.:)Last ciggie - 28/01/2012

Hello!!
Just back from T's, got DTD on those spontex green window cloths marked on a clipstrip as [STRIKE]£2 [/STRIKE]£1 but scanning at £2, also tried the spontex metallic-looking kitchen cloths also on a clipstrip at the same price but these scanned correctly. SEL on shelf for green cloths says £2. Incorrect SEL removed now at local.
Whoopsies were rubbish but it didn't look like they'd actually been checking yet due to there only being 2 loaves in the bakery whoopsies when there's normally about 15-20 so I'll go back later on and see what's occuringNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
