Can I also ask whilst on this theme please only use the voucher for the product they are intended for. My local T's has now stopped anyone using more than 1 coupon for a product in a transaction. They have said that you will only be allowed to use more than 1 if the barcode is different. So for example, the pilgrims choice coupon which is a PDF and can be printed off more than once still has the same barcode and they are refusing more than one.
The reason for this is that they have had a lot of coupon abuse where customers are putting through coupons and not purchased the product. SSM vouchers seem to be the main culprit. I think we have loads of lurkers on here from where I live as there are never any 1p items when you get to store and when there have been offers its like a plague of locusts have been as the shelfs are empty.
Sorry for extending the rant, will put soapbox back in the cupboard where I found it.
i have noticed the above recently too!
i think we should move the thread to another part of the mse forum.

Sorry to have a rant.
Felt almost sorry for the till supervisor who was ‘sent’to tell me this morning as I was leaving store, that TPOs I had just purchased through SS till, and had receipt for, were not for sale and that “she had to have them back”. LOL
Asked her politely “how could they not be for sale? There were four boxes, with a yellow SELstating 1p? Told her that I had paid for them, had a receipt (or should I say contract now with Tesco) and that I was not prepared to let Tesco purchase them back from me as I wanted to keep them”.
TS “There may well be 4 boxes on the shelf but they are not for sale”.
Me: “Oh, if they are not for sale, how come I just bought them?” “I didn’t go into the store room for them.”
TS: ‘Well I have to take them back’ - she then tries to take the bag off me and threatens to call security! (normally there is security near the door but he wasn’t there).
Me: (really trying not to lose it) “Call away, and whilst you are at it call the Police. You have just tried to steal something from me in front of all these customers, sorry I mean witnesses, and I am sure it will be on camera, and you have thoroughly embarrassed me. I intend to have you charged with attempted theft!
Immediately from behind the mag stand appears a ‘manager’who tells her to leave it and says “it’s okay, you can keep them”.
I told him in no uncertain terms that actually it is very far from okay, took his name, and said this really is not the end of the matter and that I intended to make a detailed complaint to the Chief Executive's Office.
Had I not been on my way to take my aunt to the airport, I would have called the Police myself from the store.
Left him stood there, I was just waiting for a ban, but he didnt say anything.
Could have done without any profile raising in this store as it is (or was) my ‘corner shop’. Just trying to compile my complaint, can’t seem to get it just right, but I will. I am still fuming.
Good for you keeping your cool, I don't know how you did it, I would have lost the plot for sure, the embarrassment alone would have done it for me.
An e-mail is definitely in order. How can they not sell them if the SEL says 1p on it?0 -

Do you let the dough rise first or use straight away?
Seems to be a mixed school of thought on this. Don't know which is better. (Where's Harry Hill when you need him to sort out dilemmas?!)
I see, that others already posted some ideas. This is the recipe, I'm using:
1 cup warm water,
2 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp instant yeast
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp honey/sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt.
I let it rise for about 45 mins.
I did not post anything lately, but yesterday I had my first 1/2 DTD:D - spotted some Rocky Road squares - price was £1, but they were also on BOGOF, so I took 4, paid trough SS and then went straight to the CS. She asked me to show her the offer, so I did. She asked her manager something and gave me back £2, I was so amazed, that did not want to argue at all
Today Mr.T sent to me my first £2.2 JTD ever ( CocaCola&Nivea VisageQ10) from a wombled receipt. Also I've received some free eggs from Hotel Chocolate, so I'm over the moon:j And there are some more chocies to come ( Thorthnon's glitch)...reality is a point of view...0 -

Am going camping tomorrow near there, will be camping in Mum in law's garden so can sneak inside if too cold... that's the trouble having sons.. they want to rough it...:rotfl: me...I would rather sleep indoors in this weather. It's a big adventure for them as we have never been camping before. We are going with friends and have warm sleeping bags and loads of throws so hopefully will be warm enough. Also hoping that we can at least walk along the beach and stop for coffee.
I have bribed them, told them that as I'm going camping then they can come to Tesco with me...only fair :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
So sorry to have missed your post yesterday, so I guess you are already here. Just one word "cold". If there is anything you need to know just give me a PM. I live slap bang in the middle.0 -

i am the only person who posts on here about shopping in my local one. When OEP was on, the shelf was empty bar 3 things. Last night when i was there, it had blatantly been lurkered  I was actually quite cross. They're happy to come on here and get the info but too selfish to leave anything for anyone else :mad:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Great idea karlie :rotfl::rotfl:
I think we should have a really obscure title for the next thread too....no mention of T's or 11+....anything to make it harder for the lurkers and grabbersMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Perhaps someone over there could let him know for me please. I thought of him straight away as it had the man and woman on the front of the box. He will know which one I'm talking about as we had a bit of a discussion on here one night and he said it was the only one he used.0 -
I've been having a debate with my friend about this question and the answer.
Question:
5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 x 0 = ?
I know what the answer is, however don't believe that it's a simple question and basic maths. More a trick question type which people have forgotten over the years how to do.0 -
