    Morning all :)

Does anyone remember signing up for a free Garnier deodorant via Company one night??

No, me either, but apparently I've been chosen to take part in their trial and I recieved my deodoarnt this morning :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I presume someone on here posted it, did anyone else get one? :D:cool:

I was wondering where that came from (letter stuck to the envelope to wil have to take it apart!). I had to go to the sorting office for mine as would not fit through the letter box.

Oh Issy, I bet your house is fun when all the children are there !! :rotfl: It's like the Waltons!:D

Tigerwhite, it is hard work! My floor is always covered in megabloks and glitter. When they are here, my husband usually finds an excuse to go out. I am quite often found at the bottom of the garden trying to hide! But I love them.

my Mum knits prem hats for her local hospital.

tell your mum i think she is a kind and lovely lady

i got the pattern from the loving hands charity knitting website (if your mum or you go in the knit a square thread on here there is a link to the LH website) it was designed by a lovely lady who used to post on there and MSE, she sadly passed away recently. its like a little capped sleeve cardi that you knit all in one. you start at the neck edge and work down to the waist casting off stitches to form the armholes as you go so the only sewing is darning the ends in and putting buttons on. they look really pretty.
ive been doing 'good cause' knitting for ages now but prem things are special to my heart at the moment as my brother and his partner had twins last sept who were 3 months early one came home at christmas but the weaker one is still fighting in hospital and having countless operations in her struggle to survive.

  • Just an update on my L2S vouchers at Mothercare. I should have been able to redeem a £10 voucher on a £9.xx purchase, without being forced to spend over £10. Mothercare CS are sending a £5 giftcard as an apology so thumbs up to them. Quick and helpful CS....are you listening Mr T?

Spirallingdown - what a pain for you. A bit inconsiderate of the last minute cancellations, and also your cousin doing that. Poor child sat waiting for 3 hours, he must be a good boy to wait that amount of time :A

Hope your Jubilee fun day works out, I'm sure lots of 1p glitches/DTDs will come your way soon.

He was very good, we have an Age NI group in for lunch so he asked could he help them because he was bored. He helped the volunteers, served them their fruit and ice cream and had some himself :rotfl: but he did have to ask them who the idiot was that set the fire alarm off yesterday, they all started laughing and told him he was only there on a Wednesday as he was too much for them to handle (the older folk, not the volunteers) They told him the guy was a bit senile and didn't know what day it was let alone remember what not to touch. He turned round to them and said they shouldn't be like that about him as when they get older they may be the same way. The people laughed because they're much older than my son thought, he told them he thought they were in their 50's or 60's
My mum will be pleased when I tell her cause she's late 50's :rotfl:maybe we'll have to get her to join them!

Thankfully my son was well organised and brought his own lunch with him. He also knows every inch of the centre and all the staff so knows who he can go to help and who to just let be so made himself very useful.

Can anyone from the Poole area tell me what the weather is like there please.
Am going camping tomorrow near there, will be camping in Mum in law's garden so can sneak inside if too cold... that's the trouble having sons.. they want to rough it...:rotfl: me...I would rather sleep indoors in this weather. It's a big adventure for them as we have never been camping before. We are going with friends and have warm sleeping bags and loads of throws so hopefully will be warm enough. Also hoping that we can at least walk along the beach and stop for coffee.

I have bribed them, told them that as I'm going camping then they can come to Tesco with me...only fair :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It is cold - ( bring hot water bottle!) but at the moment dry xx
