Thanks for your kind thoughts regarding the two funerals yesterday.
Gemini Jes and FloFlo - have you received your Thorntons?
I had the free deodorant and St Ives facescub. Thanks for whoever posted about these. They are going in my daughter's hosital bag for when she has the baby at the end of this month. I also received the free Jubilee lunch pack. To be honest, it's not worth sending off for. Just invitations, a 2 for 1 for the Eden project (which I will not be using) and a pack of lettuce seeds.
Received a cancellation e mail, called them this morning for a refund and spoke to a lovely woman. She said that they received in excess of 2500 orders in 1 hour and that some orders did pass through before they realised the error. Can understand them not honouring them all. They are sending a complimentary box of chocolates... great customer service.
Great idea collecting the free gifts for your daughter's hospital bag....exciting time ahead for you welcoming a new Grandchild..xBorn to glitch0 -

Am going camping tomorrow near there, will be camping in Mum in law's garden so can sneak inside if too cold... that's the trouble having sons.. they want to rough it...:rotfl: me...I would rather sleep indoors in this weather. It's a big adventure for them as we have never been camping before. We are going with friends and have warm sleeping bags and loads of throws so hopefully will be warm enough. Also hoping that we can at least walk along the beach and stop for coffee.
I have bribed them, told them that as I'm going camping then they can come to Tesco with me...only fair :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If your sleeping on air beds, make sure you put something underneath them, even if it's just some cadboard and put some kind of blanket/throw on top of the airbed, even if you're going in a sleeping bag. The cold from the ground comes through and makes the air inside the bed cold and in turn you feel cold.
Personally I always keep a hat handy when we go camping (even in the summer) as I tend to feel the cold more. Warm pyjamas and socks are always a fave of mine as well
hth's make it a more pleasent experience for you!
We love going camping. Last time we went was in October a couple of years back when I was 6 months pregnant! Haven't been since then but hoping to go this summer taking DD for the first time

did any of you feel nausea/vomited, to the extent that you just couldnt face food?
I'm a newbie quitter (Dec/Jan) but my circumstances were diff as I got pregnant so had nausea anyway.. don't think it was to lack of fags.
My friend tried quitting with something called "Clori...???" I want to say Chlorophyl (?) but it wasn't that. she suffered terrible sickness.Tiger

Oh well, a free box of chocolates is better than nothing. Yes, another baby. We are inundated with them! I have to keep counting them in case I lose one! We have 4 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 yr old and new baby in a few weeks. Also, my niece has a 2 year old and a 6 month old. Quite often they are all here at the same time. It is manic.0 -

Just back from my now one and only meeting, the other 2 were cancelled and my cousin also rang to say she couldn't have DS because she was going to get her hair done, she only decided minutes before I got to her house . I wouldn't have minded but I'd drove all the way down to Portadown because that was were my 1st meeting was and got both calls within minutes of each other. Just turned the car varound and headed home again.
The second meeting was about funding for our summer scheme and Jubilee fun day, DS had to sit outside the room for 3 hrs while we sorted out what we had to do.
Found out we only have £300 for our Jubilee fun day and have to make that do for events for the whole range of ages and not sure what that is going to entail. We're now trying to get as many freebies as possible to raffle off to raise more funds so will no doubt be scouring Mr Ts for even more OOD SELs, mostly for wine and chocs
Hope your Jubilee fun day works out, I'm sure lots of 1p glitches/DTDs will come your way soon.Tiger

DODO Dukan cake recipe
and anyone else that wants to try it
The amounts below are doubled up to what the recipe says
2 Eggs 4 Tablespoons wheatbran
4 Tablespoons Oatbran 1 Teaspoon Baking powder
2 Tablespoons Sweetner (Powder)
50 gr Soft Cheese (1 Tablesoon roughly)

Lastly add few drops of flavouring (lemon/Vanilla/Almond etc)
Just mix everything together and pop into a silicone baking mould or something microwave proof
Cook for 9 minutes, turn out onto cooling rack
when cold cut into squares store in an airtight container
If you want to you can double the amount of soft cheese and cut the yogurt down to 3 tablespoons
