Thanks NP for your good wishes. Yes, it is a slight change, rather reverting back to what I was doing earlier on in my career
Having read about the fruit chutneys on MWC's and apple jelly on SmlSave's threads, I am going to do some preserving with the loads of apples and pears which I have harvested today. Load shared with neighbours and I put out a box full of apples and pears near the pavement just outside our home and they have disappeared (gone to good homes) :-)Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Good Morning MFWs,
After having been absent from this MFW forum for the past few weeks, I'm back today due to the WFH opportunity presented by St.Jude's storm. Reading about the storm damage all across the South, I am feeling relieved that there is no damage to the 30 feet conifer in our backyard.
Free £5 for Amex cardholders here. A few minutes work needed though :-)Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Dear fellow MFWs, :-)
Have been busy with work and home - so did not post in this forum at all during the last 2 months. Now that the dust has settled down a bit, it is going to be Christmas preparations in full swing. :xmastree:
On the mortgage front, we have converted our residential mortgage to BTL (so have become an accidental LL) and moving closer to my new workplace - ergo, even more deeply indebted to the bank  Not forgotten my :money:ways though and have to live on YS for quite sometime if we need to make a dent on the new mortgages.
Have a good weekend, everyoneMortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74

Exciting times :T:T:TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Back to work tomorrow! Hope my fellow MFWs also enjoyed the break :-)
Becoming an accidental LL is a messy business. Now looking at gas safety certificate, letting agent, deposit protection etc. Hopefully the house will be let in the New Year and we can make inroads into our mortgages.
On the MSE front, have filled in both freezers with YS stuff - turkey, turkey crown, salmon, beef etc. - so looking for a minimal spend January. We have stocked up on long-life milk and other essentials using the MOCs sent by S@insburys. If anyone wants £6 off when you spend £30 and £4.50 off wys £30 MOCs valid until 4th Jan for the abovementioned supermarket, please pm me and I'll pop them in the post. Also picked up loads of MOCs for save £20 over 4 weeks of Jan. at M@S - I can post these too. HTH someone.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74
