Purple Blackberry?

Is possible to get a purple Blackberry the same shade of dark purple as the Blackberry 8520 was?

Thanks! I like the way they give a name to their colours when you put the mouse over the colours - useful to those of us with colour vision issues! Seems like the 9360 is the only other one that has "Royal purple" and I think it is a little expensive at a few pennies short of £220 for a 12 year old! :eek:

You can buy complete chassis and housings in all sorts of colours on eBay. I wouldn't suggest doing it to a new one, but we did it to my son's 8520 when his got mullered. It's like a brand new phone and wasn't too tricky to do at all.

Thanks! I was thinking a 9300 with a £10 top up voucher at £124.99 would be alright for her. She fancied the colour on the 8520 but as it seems to be pretty old (I don't know if it is) I thought that the 9300 would be better?!?

There is a Royal Purple BlackBerry Curve 9300, I have it on O2 Pay & Go, I think it's O2 exclusive & was £119.99

THANKS! She doesn't like that one because it is bright purple around the edge. She would rather have black than that purple apparently. She knows what she wants!!!!

When she seen the 9300 in purple yesterday she loved it! Just shows how you are better to see something real rather than looking at it on a computer screen!!

The handset was ordered from O2 on Thursday evening, 12th April, and it arrived yesterday afternoon. Apparently it needs a £15 top up not a £10 top up! :eek:

She got the phone and she loves it. She is on a £10 tariff not the £15 she was supposed to need!
