Do not ignore a private parking ticket - from 2013 onwards things changed in England/Wales. If yours is Parking Eye then they are suing people and so are some other PPCs.

You must appeal and with current forum advice, you will win at popla - we win 100% of appeals in 2014.

Pisces, most of the scammers have taken to making bullsh*t statements about how they will get some court to make you say who was driving, just remember PPCs are SCAMMERS and like all scammers, they tell lies, so just ignore them. They can't and won't take you to court, they are just trying to baffle you with gobbledegook.

Are not on the BPA AOS list so you should not hear from them at all seeing they can not get keeper information regarding a parking charge if they are not members of the BPA AOS.

Could be interesting if they do?

They can request the court to do so. I think we all know what the answer would be, though. Arkell vs. Pressdram?
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
  • Quick update - my lease company have confirmed that "if a fine is received they will have liability passed to the customer. They should then be able to contest this if they so wish"

I have quickly pointed out to the lease company that this is not a fine, just a PCN. Anyway, I shall be ignoring anything that comes my way and hopefully the lease company will not get shirty about it!

Well it's not even a real PCN either - it just shares the same initials (wonder why?!).

A real PCN from a Council is a Penalty Charge Notice. This isn't one.

    Its an invoice. Full stop.

    From a private company.

It 100% ISN'T a fine or penalty from an authorised body issued under legislation relating to parking.

Well if something arrives turn the tables on them, they should not be able to get your details from DVLA regards a parking charge. If they do get your details they will have told porkies to the DVLA or used a third party!

At least the lease company know the score!
