I think it was because you said you were claiming on the policy. If you have claimed or in the process of a claim then that claim will taken into account (if old claim) or voided (if new claim) if you make a complaint.
Hmmm im abit confused.... im currently in the process of a claim....have you read my thread - you may be able to make sense of it? Thanks

i rang ltsb to accept and 2 days later my cheque arrived..no problems

In an unexpected twist to the tale, I ended up getting paid twice, in error. First by cheque, then 3 days later, the same amount directly into my bank account.
Needless to say they were somewhat quicker to notice this, and to get in touch to retrieve their own money back...0
