Just talked to customer services. She said its only the first 3 books (a ,b & c) as its part of a series which means every month they will send the next series and you wil be charged extra as the prices go up. I asked her to cancel my order but she was unable to as it has not come up on there system yet. HTH.

Will wait and see what I get as if it's some flash cards, 3 books and the mat it still is reasonable value.

I don't see how they can do that given that there's no mention of it anywhere on the site, or during the checkout process. There would be no obligation on anyone to pay for additional books, as you never agreed to receive them.

GUTTED!!!!! Am so sorry everyone I honestly didn't think it would be just 3 books from the set :(

I might cancel mine too as it IS very sneaky not to mention that you have to BUY the ADDITIONAL books in the set

I was SO happy when I found this as just thought it was a good deal as part of their ''clearance bargains'' as alot of the items eg the knives and the £5 watches are HIGHLY discounted from the RRP so really thought this would be the same :mad:

Just seen my Quidco has tracked and was EXCITED till I read it was only THREE BOOKS

SO SORRY EVERYONE - I HONESTLY thought it was a bargain as have ordered the knife set which retails @ £40 upwards so thought it was another similar PRICE SLASH!!!!!

This seems really strange, I just dont understand how RD could muck up so badly if the set requires an on going commitment dont they have to spell that out to the consumer?? However I personally think that the mat and the flashcards in themselves are a good buy for the £5 and you would be able to make up all sorts of games using just these, we have something similar from Chimp and Zee and play it several different ways to get DS familiar with his letters / sounds.
