Don't worry Cassa - not your fault - we all got sucked in.
they don't have a proper descriptiona dn we jsut assumed.
STILL i don't see how they can do this 'sending more out' business - anyhow will see what arrives - have ordered stuff before but can't recall if there is free returns as nothing shown on website.
Its like all bargains - sometimes it greta stuff but there is always a dud every so often - but basically we come out on top - I ordered the wtches too!

I think this set used to be for the "sending more out" offer by RD but is now discontinued. Maybe that's why it is in the Clearance section. You will got get the whole A-Z set but I don't think they can send you more books. Just my thought though.

going to wait and see what turns up, they can't possibly keep taking money from your account for more books if its not stated. i think and hope lepetite.mommy is right

Really annoyed - Rang to cancel my order & they said they couldn't but to wait for them to arrive , will be an AMAZING surprise if they DO send out the full set but am not holding my breath as they guy said it was only for 3 books and the rest of the set is sent out monthly

The good news is he said we just have to ring them within 28 days of receipt & they send out a courier at THEIR expense to collect them!

Perhaps they should be CLEARER then in their DESCRIPTION in future as monthly billing for the rest of the set is NOT STATED AT ALL in the description so now its gonna COST THEM to firstly send them out & then have them collected again & then refund us

There is a TINY bit of me still hoping it IS the whole set though as if it is discontinued then what use is only the first 3 books in the set anyway?? lol

Maybe these are just the 'left over' sets of the initial 3 book packs???

Would make sense if they only have A-C to send out which is why the ''further books'' aren't mentioned on the website?

But if it is discontinued why are they saying we WILL receive the rest of the set monthly if we want it ( Which I DON'T )

Either way , its CONFUSING! lol

Surely when we receive them it'll say if they're going to send any more? I don't want to be tied into anything by accepting the first set?

Well I have rung up now too - mainly to say they ought to make their website clearer!

Chap quite nice but didn't really know a lot - he did say about the return service but I said the website was unclear and they ought to do something about it - he said it was mentioned when we ordered about extra books but i said it wasn't and they were selling misleading stuff!

Anyhow still not sure how much comes (as the chap wasn't either) - he did say about 6 things come - but the books are a series of 10 - so will wait and see.

I also said I wasn't the only one unhappy with the way it was being advertised and to do something about it.

Cazza don't worry - its no problem - you posted that in good faith!! RD have been very very naughty if that is the case that they send out additional books grrr :mad:!! I will try and ring them tomorrow too and see what they say but if they offer the free courier to collect then nothings lost.....and I'm still hoping it might just maybe perhaps be the full set *crosses fingers* but if not oh well no worries

Well I am sorry but if this is the case i will be really annoyed with RD!
i have ordered in good faith as advertised, a set each to be sent direct to 2 of my grand children, and i will not be happy at all if I need to arrange a courier to collect them. not only is this very embarrassing, but also very inconvenient.

i shall ring their customer services department tomorrow and see what they say.

To be honest , I ordered on the assumption it was only the stuff in the picture, which I still thought was amazing value. What I would be annoyed about is having to buy more books. Hopefully,if it's discontinued , there are no more books to send and hence this set being in the clearance section. I've just sent them an email, asking them to clarify, that I owe them nothing more than 4.99 which they already have. If any more charges, for any more books are to take place, I've asked them to cancel my order. I'll let you know how I get on.

They shouldn't take any more charges as they say on the website that they do not store card details.

Chap who spoke to me said first the set was about £7.99 - then when I said I'd ordered for £4.99 he said it was cheaper on the website - so seems they are all confused. But he was the one who said I'd been asked to opt in to having more books - which none of us were asked.

Will be interesting to see what turns up - though its a good a few of us have emailed and phoned to voice our displeasure.
