Twice I have written posts and lost them to this stupid message, they were not too short!!

    I used to get this when trying to post from work (IE6).

    I found the only way to correct this was through settings (User CP > Edit Options > Misc Options (bottom of the page). Change Message Editor Interface from Enhanced to Standard.

    This will happen if you write inside the quote box when quoting another poster. The vbulletin system does not seem to recognise quoted posts as having any size.
