New to this site so excuse me if this is in the wrong place!

Has anyone else ever had any trouble with BuyMyLaptop.co.uk? I read good reviews about them so decided to sell my laptop with them.

The laptop was picked up on the 27/2 (5 weeks ago!!) And I was told everything should be done within a week to 10 days. 2 weeks passed and I contacted them, and they said that my laptop needed further testing. Fair enough I thought. Now another 3 weeks after this, after emailing 12 times with no reply, leaving messages on their customer service helpline answerphones?! And endless trying to get through on their live chat every time being told that all operators are busy. I must have tried at least 25 times one day last week!!

Does anyone know if there is any legal action I can take towards this. I'm really getting annoyed with them now! :mad:

go though the t's and c's.

have a look if they state any turnaround times reasonable time is 28 days.

why didnt u just sell it on ebay, you would of got more money there

Use site search as there was a thread with the same thing, also runs a few companies

What's the betting that when they get back to you there's all sorts they don't like and the price they offer has plummeted!

I thought that, but on the tracking details it says it has passed inspection.

I'm sure it will have passed the inspection but I'll be very surprised if they offer the full amount they quoted, it's how these firms work.

I just stupidly sold my laptop to these people
after reading what seemed good reviews and now regret doing it

Has anyone had recent dealings with this company good or bad ?

Has anyone got a pending police report against them ?
