Yes - on the confirmation email that they send you, it says:-

'You MUST verify your order before we can process it!
Unverified orders will be cancelled & refunded after 7 days.'

I assume that this is the same for postcards too

i have some backpacking photos that would be nice to print them for free

Can confirm that it works - takes about 2-3 days for them to send the photos out to you. Need to go collect mine from the local depot as I was out when the postie arrived and I have an unusually small postbox

I have done a couple of searches today for 3 and 4 sb but although I have got sb for them, they haven't gone on to my daily total - is this normal?

I am cashing in some SB for Amazon vouchers. I'm slightly concerned to hand over my phone number for them to send the verification to, given that there's no "don't send me spam or share my number with anyone else" option. Has anyone had trouble with receiving SMS spam in the past by doing this?
