What stuff should I be looking at in order to gain points etc..'on a daily basis? What are the most popular items with the most points?

Hello! Welcome!
I would recommend using Firefox or Opera on an PC, some things will not work on a Mobile Browser.
Do the NOSO, and the Daily Poll for 1SB each.
(You could install the SB Toolbar to your PC browser (doesn't support Opera though) for an extra 1SB a day, however I prefer not to use the toolbar as I am wary of how much of my activity it may be monitoring.)
Trusted surveys are good earners you can get around 50-120SB depending on what you qualify for, and also the daily survey for 70SB.
You should be able to at least get 2 wins on the search throughout the day, earning from 8 (or so) SB to around 59SB (The highest win I've ever had was 59SB at least). I think it's possible to win up to 4 times though.
You can get 10SB a day for playing games. 2SB per 2 games.
You can gain a few SB doing tasks each day (though I find them tedious). You get paid 20SB once the meter fills up.
You can keep an eye out for codes released on the Swagbucks Facebook and Twitter pages and enter those on the main page for extra SB.
There is also Swagbucks TV, you get 3SB per 10 videos watched, up to 150SB a day.
And the SBTV Mobile app (for android users), you can get around 2SB per 5 minutes, up to 50SB a day.
There are also some surveys on the offer walls (particularly Peanut Labs, Trial Pay and Paymentwall) but be more wary of these and screenshot your completion in-case you are not awarded SB for some reason.
There are often videos on the offer walls, particularly on Peanut Labs, SponsorPay and SuperSonic. Ranging from 1SB each to 5SB. (Rarely 7SB).0 -
I'm trying to do a daily survey and it won't let me pick an option. It won't let me go forward or backward. Nothing! >.<

I have managed to do a 60sb peanuts survey so have reached target for the day. I thought I was going to have to watch sbtv all night lol. Only 32 sb away from next voucher amount so might keep the rice ad going until they stop me hehe.0

OMG, absolutely FURIOUS with payment wall. Have just had a response to my claim about unpaid SB for a survey I completed. I took several screenshots throughout the survey, including 1 that showed the completion bar at 100% which was the last page I could printscreen. Even though I emailed them all of this, they claim that they couldn't find my survey in their files, therefore they will not credit me.
SO basically, don't bother with screen shots for payment wall cos if they don't feel like handing out the bucks, they simply wont, even if you can PROVE that you did the survey.
Angry? much?0 -

Same response for me too. I was checking my ledger and I still haven't been credited for my daily survey from 25th June. I've sent a ticket so here's hoping.0 -

I am so mad, I am missing out on sb's here there and everywhere. I completed a Daily Survey on 25/6 (the monday after the nightmare weekend when no surveys credited) I have a screen shot of the 'congratulations' page with the date in the corner and my name at the top etc etc which I have sent to SB, I have had an email back (after only 1 hour) to tell me that there is no record of me doing the survey and that I wont be getting my sb's. How much more damn proof do they really need?? I had a refusal from Payment Wall after sending them proof too, never got my 14 sb for 'liking' Acer on FB and they are refusing too even though I have a screen shot of my FB page with evidence of the 'like'
Sorry for the rant but I am getting so disheartened with it all0
