I strongly recommend not relisting - they'll be watching you, and ebay don't take kindly to repeat offenders.

Yeah, but it will be relisted without the item it was removed for - the Next logo.

I'm sure the message was a bluff from someone and maybe the timing was coincidence.

You say above that the voucher is not transferable, you know someone is watching you as ebay only act when someone reports you. They will almost certainly pull the auction again and ask questions later.

IMHO you would be foolish to risk relisting the item.

Of course it wasn't coincidence. The same person has sent you the message and complained to ebay. Ebay would not have acted without a complaint

  • Surely if the listing got pulled because the NEXT logo was used then it would be OK to relist without using it?

If the buyer had any problems - the maximum refund by PayPal would be £0.01 and buyer would have to return item at their expense. Fortunately the seller does have good feedback and has been on eBay a long time... but if they were a dodgy seller then stay away.

How do the vouchers work - are they numbered and issued to you personally, can they be used like cash in a shop or are they effectively account credits?

If an individual voucher can be linked to you and can't be spent like cash, wouldn't be a major problem for them to twig if it's being used by somebody else (hope that makes sense).
  • I get what you mean.

Is it like one you can buy in a shop and don't have to give your name, or is it one you have to order and they take your details?
