Report to HMRC to open an ISA?

Greetings,
I would like to ask if I need report to HMRC to open 2012's new isa account.
I left the UK 2010 due to an emergency situation - having thought I would not be back again, I completed P85 for leaving the UK tax return.
But my circumstances changed a few months ago, I was back to the UK and settled down again. Now my question is do I need to report my situation to HMRC to open an ISA? (I have just been back and am not working at the moment. )
Thank you very much for your help!

You will need a current National Insurance number.
But apart from that, it cannot do any harm and may do some good to have your status changed back to residency status.0 -
Hi I don't know after submitting p85 if my NI is still active?0

I dont think you need to tell HMRC you have a cash ISA as they are tax free.
I think you are better phoning up or writing a letter to let them know you about the change in your circumstances regarding the P85 form. As it does say
- see link here of the actual formyou may not be coming back or you don’t know when
you’re coming back or,
you are leaving the UK to work full-time abroad for at least
a complete tax yea
If I am wrong, please someone correct me.0
