I have been looking to convert to adsl and checked out a number of ISPs. I think I am going to go for Plusnet. They offer a 2mb speed for £14.99 a month with a 1GB monthly data download which is more than sufficient.
They seem to have a good reputation amongst users. Anybody out there with them?
They also offer technical help at local rates should you need to contact them.

Art.

100% + satisfied with Plusnet. I use less than 2Gb/month so price and speed is really ideal for me. Domain arrangement superb for me. But if you use more or do gaming maybe not. Good anti-spam, anti-virus and useage measurement. See their site and really see the information. The moving finger, having writ, moved on.0

Obviously I don't know exactly how you use the 'net, but I downloaded more than 1GB through "normal usage" when I was connected using a dial-up 56k modem.
The 2Mbs speed with a 1Gb limit combination seems totally pointless.
If 1GB is sufficient why do you need 2Mbs ?
If you need 2Mbs how can 1Gb be enough ?
If you can actually fully use 2Mbs, you can download 1Gb in just over ONE HOUR !!!!! (about 67 minutes)There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

I assume the faster the speed ( i.e. 2MB ) the quicker the download will take. As to the download limit if you are simply using the net for email and viewing web pages 1gb will possibly be enough. If not you can pay for extra capacity which works out at under £2 a gb. You are then only paying extra when you use it. Plusnet has a calculator on their site to help you decide how much capacity you expect to use.
