Have applied online today for Santander 3.3% cash ISA to transfer existing ISAs from previous years - putting no new money in.
Am I allowed to open a new ISA with Cheshire B Soc with new money now (as rate is 3.5%) or do I have to wait until the new tax year.
Reading the Santander terms and conditions, I wasn't sure if I am allowed to open with a different provider for new money or not.

As long as you haven't subscribed this year's allowance (2011/2012) into an ISA, you can open a new ISA with the Cheshire for the current year.0 -
Just what I needed to know. Thanks 10_660
