Once again I'm joining in on a Tuesday - Mondays are just so busy for me that I've given up on flying then. But I'll make it up at the weekend.

I've been organising a lot of work on the house. I've had part of the porch rebuilt, and getting estimates for my garage to be made over with relaid roofing and new door. Also been getting quotes for scaffolding to allow dormer windows to be repaired and whole house repainted. It's going to cost a lot, but all needs doing. So I've felt quite good that I've been getting this organised.

I've just had a cuppa and now on to cleaning and decluttering.
  • Caught up with Mondays list and Tuesdays is all done too :)

  • Have decided not to even try the lists during the school holidays. I swept the kitchen floor, but not worth mopping due to the high traffic of males in hobnail boots mending bike punctures etc. Think I will concentrate on frogs instead.

I am yet to achieve my first frog, but younger son now has the clown bike (aka BMX) of his dreams, so he's happy.

Hi all can I join, also is there anywhere I can get a list for the whole week (just a basic one)? My house isn't too bad but desperatley need to sort out my bedroom before weekend after next as it still contains the remnants of unpacked boxes from the house move lol (move to a bigger house and its still full of clutter lol) Thanks all. x
Hi, and welcome. For a whole week's lists, have a look at post #1 on last week's thread, dated 26th March.:o

Hi, have you read the books as although I like the series I find the books far easier to understand and there is less gratuitous violence x
No I haven't :o - I must put them on my "want to read" list, which is ridiculously long (and I am ashamed to say it takes me months to get through a book, as I have very little time for reading). I can cope with things in print that turn my stomach over if shown on a TV screen, so the books are probably a good idea for me.;)

I'm ahead of myself this week:T - I've done the bathroom already; and hoping to do both the bedroom and the spare room on Thursday, as I don't stand a snowball's chance in hell over the weekend:D (whose idea was a 4-day weekend, for goodness sake?)

Off list and in pretty good shape, mil is looking after us this week due to more "chicken pops" as DS likes to call them. I was turfed out at 7am to miss the traffic, and all was taken care of by the time I got home at 3.40

Except we forgot to feed the spotty one! Oh dear. By the time she got her spaghetti Bol she was shovelling it in with two spoons lol. Followed by a hot cross bun and pot f fruit pur!e. She's only 19 months lol x

I've been sent to bed as apparently I'm going to work early again...

When we moved here some of the kids at DS's new school had chicken pops - DD liked the sound of them and asked for some - lo and behold she got her wish!

Been to buy tester pots and have come home with wallpaper samples for dining room (necessary) and living room - oops *blushes*
DD has stripped a section of wall[paper, washed it down and it's had its first coat (in her bedroom). the brush is shedding (just bought them - a cheapie pack) but they will be going back as not fit for purpose under SoGA. She's requested decent brushes...still think teaching her to decorate has been a good idea though;)

I baked an apple lattice with left over puff pastry and a tine of pie filling - because the stewed apples I thawed from the freezer turned out to be date and walnut cake :rotfl:

I've burnt one of my tops onto my iron - any ideas on how to clean my iron?
