Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I am in a similar situation with Citroen. I have a citroen c2 57 plate on finance.
To cut a long story short the engine basically stopped working.
I had to take it to a citroen dealer to get it looked at and theyve stripped the engine at a cost of +£500 to diagnose the fault and £130 doing a diagnostic test.
The report said the turbo failed and somehow oil got into the engine and basically because the cylinders cannot compress fluid it caused irreparable damage and hence undriveable. - but they couldnt tell me how this has happened.

I contacted the insurance and they claim because its a manufacturers fault its not covered by them and so im stumped
furthermore, any idea if because its a "manufacturers fault" that citroen have any responsibility? surely a car that is only 57 plate the turbo shouldn't fail?!. I have hit a brick wall, Citroen said they would investigate it - but all we got off that was that they wouldnt do anything and the guys advice was to try and sell the car?!

So now my car has been sat outside my flat for 4months - undrivable and still no resolution in sight!! I am still paying the fiance and citizens advice were very unhelpful!!

Well the update is...ive to send more letters off and get 3 independant mechanic reports on the car. My finance company are being really helpful tho, ive too give Citroen 14 days as they have broken there contract of selling a car that in unroadworthy and suitable for purpose. In the mean time i'm still waiting on another phone call from Citroen, a full 24hrs after they said they would call me back after 30minutes..
Citroen Head Office and the dealership underneath there head office have got to be the worst to deal with ever!!!!
