Good morning folks:j,
Have been missing for a few days as work is fairly crazy at the minuteNo NSD to report from yesterday, as I had to go to Mr T to get some groceries. I don't think today will be either, as I like to buy a paper and some sweets on a Saturday and may also have a flutter on the National:o.
Belated Birthday greetings to Nargle and hope you had a good one:).
Beanie, I hope your back is feeling better soon.
I hope everyone else enjoys the weekend:).If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Flying – I have debated with myself whether to but some stamps before the price goes up but I’m not sure I post enough to be worthwhile. Good for you though, the price increase is shocking.
A second class stamp is going up by 14p  A large letter stamp for second class is going up by 11p   I send at least 10 large letters a month either selling craft stuff or sending my cards to people so buying ten stamps now saves me £1.10 right away.
Buying them essentially makes you immune from price rises for a while as they're valid so long as they say "1st" or "2nd" on them. I'd rather buy a huge stash now than start to lose money on Fleabay/get hit with negative postage feedback0 -

What I wonder is, how can they justify 14p. The internet can get a letter to someone almost instantly and it's free (sorta).
I know not everyone has internet and you can't put an e-card on your mantlepiece, but 14p  all that does is hit small businesses that are struggling anyway :mad:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
