Hi everyone, I hope you all had a lovely day.
DH & I had a lovely day out, bally hot at Weymouth, but a smashing day. £3.22 in the pot after having to pop into M!rrisons for sun lotion..

Loubell, I'm so pleased you're enjoying the thread so much, I have to admit that we really are a lovely lot and care for each other, a lot to be said for that. :)

I can't do with it too hot either, mishmogs, so it's not just you. So sorry to hear the job isn't yours, but there's a better one out there - just for you! ;)

VERY well done in finding that £10er, sparky! I hope you sent up a thought for the one who lost it. Thanks a lot for the e-mail too, what a great laugh! I see you haven't put it on here then...sparks???

Your trip sounded lovely, little_sweetie, glad you both enjoyed yourselves.

Well, it's been a tiring day, lovely but I'm near whacked.
Have a wonderful day, everyone and enjoy the sun tomorrow.

He bought a cord necklace and a keyring, and nope there was not a penny left of that £3 :rotfl:. He had a really good time though and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have just packed him off to school with some home made invitations after he decided he wants to go swimming for his birthday next week . Didnt give me much notice did he . So am gonna take them down for the inflatable fun, 2 of them have swimming cards aswell so only costs me £2.70 for them and £3.20 for the other one :D.

Not sure what I will do if we get there and they say they are full . . . so have put on the invites for them to be here 35 minutes before the swim starts and i'll take them straight down to try and make sure they get in.

on a potting note, moved miss lilys seat into the front yesterday and found 2p under it :D:D shes off on an outing with nursery today so have got to get her there for 9am  I havent been out the house that early since the last time we went abroad on holiday

    Morning Sue
Of course I spared a little thought for the loser of the £10'er. Ahem!!

Your comment also sounded like a dare, so here goes!

Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle.

From the Daily News comes this story of a Leicester couple who drove their car to ASDA, only to have their car break down in the car park.

The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed the car.

The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of hairy legs protruding from under the chassis. Unfortunately, although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned his private parts into glaringly public ones..

Unable to stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hand UP his shorts, and tucked everything back into place.

On regaining her feet, she looked across the bonnet and found herself staring at her husband who was standing idly by watching.

The AA mechanic, however, had to have three stitches in his forehead.

    The Prisoner

A man escapes from a prison where he's been locked up for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns. Inside, he finds a
    >Young couple in bed. He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair.
    >While tying the homeowner's wife to the bed, the convict gets on top of her,
    >Kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom. While he's in there, the husband whispers over to his wife, 'Listen, this
    >Guy is an escaped convict. Look at his clothes! He's probably spent a lot
    >Of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. I saw how he kissed your
    >Neck. If he wants sex, don't resist, don't complain... Do whatever he tells you.
    >Satisfy him no matter how much he nauseates you. This guy is obviously
    >Very dangerous.. If he gets angry, he'll kill us both. Be strong, honey. I love you!'His wife responds, 'He wasn't kissing my neck. He was whispering in my
    >Ear. He told me that he's gay, thinks you're cute, and asked if we had any
    >Vaseline. I told him it was in the bathroom. Be strong. I love you, too.'

    Ethel!

Ethel was a bit of a demon in her wheelchair, and loved to charge around the nursing home, taking corners on one wheel and getting up to maximum speed on the long corridors.

Because the poor woman was one sandwich short of a picnic the other residents tolerated her and some of them actually joined in.

One day Ethel was speeding up one corridor when a door opened and Kooky Clarence stepped out with his arm outstretched. 'STOP!,' he shouted in a firm voice. 'Have you got a license for that thing?'
Ethel fished around in her handbag and pulled out a Kit Kat wrapper
and held it up to him.
'OK' he said, and away Ethel sped down the hall.

As she took the corner near the TV lounge on one wheel, weird Harold popped out in front of her and shouted 'STOP! Have you got proof of insurance?'
Ethel dug into her handbag, pulled out a drink coaster and held it up to him.
Harold nodded and said 'On your way, Ma'am.'

As Ethel neared the final corridor, Crazy Craig stepped out in front of her,
Butt- Naked, and holding his 'You-Know-What' in his hand.

    'Oh, good grief,' yelled Ethel,
'Not that Damn Breathalyser Test again.!!!'
