HAPPY BIRTHDAY ModestyB
:bdaycake:
On a potting note, nothing potted since Fri/ Sat. Just decided that i will pot once weekly, with the leftover money from my weekly budget and then once a month with leftovers from my grocery budget. Although with food prices there is not often much left in that budget.
Another quiet day today, i am off work but i do need to catch up on some report writing and a bit of homework for a leadership and management course i am doing.
Have a good day all.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

I am back from my lovely weekend away
got some beautiful earrings from DH, and the kids had made me a card and bought me a big bag of maltesers out of their own pocket money
Spent a fortune in the arcades, but brought back £8.62 in various change (including 3 x £2 coins :j :j) for my pot so hes a happy little money holder todaySPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -
Just been back and read what I missed, was thinking 'oh not much chatting over the weekend' and then read Sue-UU saying its only quiet cos im not here  How Rude!!
Well I seem to have a right water baby on my hands! Took DS and DD to the pool while we were away (as there was one on site), DD has only been in the pool once before, we pop her armbands on and she just chucked herself in and was doggy paddling from one end to the other  Thankfully it was one of those pools where its deepest in the middle and has steps either end so she was just paddling about going 'I dont need help! my can do it myself' and my favourite 'sighhhh daddy! get out the wayyyyyy!' when he tried to help her out :rotfl:
There was also a baby walk in pool next to the big pool, so she decided to get out and wander in there, lays on her back and is floating happily in the deepest partDh says she takes after him, I said not with the floating as he can't keep his big bum up when hes trying to float and ends up in a reclining chair position :rotfl:
Must say I got a bit scared yesterday when we took them back to the pool (only so much arcading you can do) went to get out, took her armbands off ready and she turned round and jumped off the steps into the water  DH was laughing his head off while im stood there trying to explain that without armbands shes not gonna float like she thinksSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £25/£10000 -

Hiya b_e_g! Did you ever hear any more of Footie? I miss her coming on late at night. So, if you're lurking, Footie, come on back and join us.
Hi Sue - sorry I haven't seen anything of Footie for a long long time. Hope everything is ok though.
Nothing to pot I'm afraid as the man in the shop wanted all my pennies for some new skirting boards.
Take care everyone,

What a wonderful day! A good start then turned chilly, then lovely.
A very Happy Birthday to you, ModestyB!!!Sue=UU wrote:Isn't it ever quiet when jakes-mum's away...:shhh: Almost as though she's cast a spell of silence over all SPCers. I hope you're having a great time, jakes-mum.
That was all I said see, jakes-mum, everyone knows it was in the nicest possible way. Shows I must've been thinking of you now doesn't it.Good to see you back having had a great time together. So, little Lily's going to be one for the water then, it's such a good thing if kiddies are able to swim as early as it possible. I hope you had a lovely Birthday, you certainly had a memorable weekend.
A lovely lot of cash you've squirreled away at the weekend, Kerry, excellent.
Ooooh Rosy visions of you walking along the sea shore just then, were lovely, what a place to be at the weekend. Where all set to go on Wednesday, all being well.scubaangel wrote:Have decided to start a sort of second purse challenge but rather than saving the 'profit' from buying things back from myself I've decided to put it in to my sealed pot.
Ummm....haven't a clue what you mean, scuba, but presuming it sounds good. Good luck with it.sparky0107 wrote:Morning Sue
Yes I'm still working overtime, my DW was working herself yesterday. This O/T money is paying off the mortgage & also paying towards our retirement fund, with a few nice hols in between, so she knows it's a necessary evil which is going to come to the end soon, I'm just surprised it's lasted this long (12 months).
Hope you & T had a great weekend X
Hi sparky, yes, no doubt she's very mindful of it all too...certainly will be when you're on your hols. It's been a whole year? Good Heavens, that went quick!
You & J had a great week too - when you're together - so to speak.
We mightn't have seen you for a while, Delilahh, but what a nice sum you've bagged, good for you.
WOW, Loubell..and after you said last week you weren't doing well - you're doing just wonderfully! :j
Potting once a week is fine, ETO, whatever suits us all, though once a week is all I'm able to do as we live in the sticks...lovely though and I'm definitely not complaining. All the best with your course!blue_eyed_girl wrote:Hi Sue - sorry I haven't seen anything of Footie for a long long time. Hope everything is ok though.

Thanks for that at least b_e_g, I hope she's ok as she's been away since way before last Christmas. Re your man in the shop - you tell him....well, just tell him..:think:Another great day set for tomorrow, folks, enjoy it!
Sue xAnyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.
