I'm taking my mum on holiday on Wednesday so I'll be offline for a few days but I'll be potting any money I have left when I'm home. Sold my laptop to a colleague so that'll give me some spends :jThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi,
I'd like to join this little group, have got a pot and everything but not sure where I add my name although I did read the newbie notes, I'm still baffled, sorry!! I'm a single mum to two girls and as we are all having major milestone birthdays next year, this will be for our spending money for a little special trip we have planned. We've had a couple of years from hell, yet still those girls are always smiling, so this important to me!! Any pennies will just make it better for them!! Many thanks all, have a great weekend.
Welcome. You will be well looked after in this forum. Keep smiling!
Well done KerryWoman, I hope your new jobs opens many doors for you.
Managed to pot £6.45, £2.30 of which was the very first contribution from my DH. Actually he had no choice - I raided his wallet in front of him and he just stood there, gobsmacked!

Hi Sue, hope you're better soon. The chemist should be able to advise you about a cream to use for the itching.
In the pot today, a lonely £1 coin found cowering in my coat pocket plus a 5p shopkill.
