    What is 'wombling'?

    Hi Ghostlove

It refers back to those lovely furry creatures on wimbledon common who picked up litter...... you'd be amazed how many people at sadsa and tossco drop their receipts before taking them home to do the price challenge online. Wombling is about picking up that unsightly litter and making sure we consumers claim as much revenge as possible from those poor SMs!:D

Also watch out for those receipts that say "you could have earned xx clubcard points" Because if you hand those over with your clubcard at customer services they will kindly add them to your account.:T:T:T(although I have taken to wearing different disguises in my local Tossco so they dont recognise me as the woman that shopped 4 times in one day!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Its a bit like playing bingo or scratchcards... - when you key in the details from the receipt on the website you never know whether you will win a prize or not! Great fun :o

    HTH

    Happy wombling!

    Evening everyone
A productive day in the sparky household, while my DW has been toiling at work, I've cooked a lamb casserole and a big pot of chicken stew and also done all the ironing.

£2 plus change into the sealed pot for me, 50p into the Chicago & New York 2013 spending fund, also 3p road change while walking the dog this morning in the pouring rain.

Hi folks, I hope you all had a lovely Easter.
I've never wombled yet, Kylie, but who knows now I know what it entails.

Oh very well done, sparky, I can imagine how thrilled your DW was on the smells the greeted her on arriving home; lamb casserole, a chicken stew as well as the beautiful smell of fresh ironed clothing the ironing! :grinheartYou're an A1 hubby, just like my T!!!

A rotten shame about the weather with the littles, LC 2, not too bad at all down here with just 1 or 2 light showers.

I hope you're soon feeling much better, jakes-mum.

Sorry Rosy, but I haven't noticed anything of great distinction with all the twaddle posted, but one of these days you're time'll come. I've only ever given out them to the terrible duo, Ruth, mumof3plusoh and Kerry. Strange how those who're moaning most are the former 2! :p:p No pleasing some folk.

Yes thanks, mishmogs, I had a lovely Easter, I hope you did too. VERY WELL DONE on all you've saved.....so far! £368 is simply amazing!!!!! Thanks a lot for updating your sig.
All the best with potting as much as possible folks!
    Sue x

Hi mishmogs lovely Easter thanks, and we got an extra day off work so I've just been out to the pictures with DD :):)

    Brilliant potting :T :T

Sue-UU you're quite right I must try harder (sigh). Potted £1.45 change from the pictures, off to the gym and Asd@ shortly so that'll be another £1 for going to the gym - though actually I dont really need the incentive as I enjoy it, so maybe I should pot for going to the supermarket instead!

Take care everyone and keep potting :)
