Hurrah Sue's back we've missed you it's been very quiet on here. I've been in sunny Southend this weekend, got 2p roadkill but put it in one of those naughty arcade machines :D
Potted £1.63, all I had left when we got home.
At least we got all the way back on the bike without getting drenched so that made a nice change :D

Welcome back Sue, glad you had a lovely time away.

Anyway no potting for a while, but £7 in the pot last night. Pleased with that this close to payday.

    Have a good week all.

A lovely £2 coin in the pot today with some random change and my mum bought me some shopping from mr m last night and wouldn't take the money  so a £5 note also went in the tin as I figured I'd have spent it on the shopping if I had gone to mr m myself

  • Hi all,

I'm home  We came back on Friday, a day early, 'cos the weather was rubbish and now look at it! :cool2: We had an awful lot of rain which meant we couldn't go off walking as much as we'd have liked (now we're older it brings on our aches and pains if we get too wet and cold :o ) so we ate out more than we expected to, including hot cornish pasties in the car...yum! Of course, we are now both flat broke until the end of the month but overall we had a lovely time.

I've just scrabbled in our coat pockets and found a single penny in mine and nothing in DH's  so 1p is all I can pot at the moment. I've done most of the washing (and dried it outside :j) but I will try trouser pockets and sneaky hiding places tomorrow...:D At this rate I'm never going to meet my target so I must try economising a bit more on food shopping from now on. November will be here before we know it....

So glad to hear you are back sue and have had a lovely time. Maybe we should try Scotland next holiday :rotfl:

Have a great evening everyone x
