Was NOT going to give in to the temptation of looking at video but of course I did Then was definitely not going to try it with GChildren but of course I did Now DIL not impressed as GChildren had school uniforms on !!

Evening all!

I've been a bit AWOL due to feeling rough but feel much better now. Thanks to all who posted sympathetic messages

Have spent all afternoon at the hospital having DH's other eye looked at (I think it ought to be his head sometimes :rotfl::rotfl:) He is going to have a second cataract op in around 18 weeks so his 2 new pairs of glasses (much hard won and VERY expensive) will no longer be any use :eek: Deja vue?? £4.50 spent on hospital car parking so I might as well pot my leftover change of 32p as it's not enough to buy anything with anyway

I do sympathise with anyone buying new school uniforms especially when they are tied to a particular shop. I remember it well from my own two youngsters. Everything was twice the price of chain store equivalents

I am now counting the days to our holiday in CORNWALL...yay! :j We go on Saturday for a whole week! I am not going to touch my sealed pot savings. As we are self catering I've stockpiled a few basics to take (including a couple of £3.99 bottles of wine ) as well as the usual loo rolls, foil, washing up liquid etc and I'm hoping that our usual food budget will be enough to last the week. We intend to use our pocket money to treat ourselves to a couple of meals out too. Hopefully, the weather will have improved a bit so that we can do lots of walking and exploring :cool2: I can't wait.....

Has anyone heard from Sue ? Is it just me or has she gone AWOL too? I hope all is well :think:
