Washing Powder Any Offers?

Just wondered if there are any offers on washing powder at the moment, I usually buy Bold powder, I was considering giving the Aldi stuff a try, but just not sure, my daughter does have sensitive skin, is Asdas own any good? I really need to make some massive savings this month, so any help would be great

Hi Not sure if its any help but i have just started using the astonish 4 in 1 liquid you get 2 ltr (26 washes) for £1.99 in home bargains - it really nice and i am going to use this from now on. I do at least 2 loads a day and have always used surf liquid tabs but this is so much better.

Lidl has their own - I use the Formil non-bio box which is 60 wash for £6.49. I use less than it recommends and I find it to be excellent value. I have to use a non-bio so have not tried the bio version.

I use liquid rather than powder

For my whites/lighter colours I use ASDA Smartprice Biological Liquid Concentrated - 28 Washes (1L) - £1.65 which works out at just under 6p per wash.

For my colours I've been using an Aldi concentrated liquid but I'm not sure whether they are still doing this as last time I was in Aldi I didn't see it.

We used to use the Asda smartprice powder at the previous house I lived at and that seemed to work fine.

I have limited storage where I live now so liquid is easier than powder.

I'm happy with this at £1 per kg. This makes more sense to me than the cost per wash. Even in my hard water area I only use a heaped tablespoon per wash which I'm sure is less than recommended. I will try the liquid you use though as powder can be difficult to dissolve on low temp washes.

Tesco have Daz 38 wash for £4 (although the pic on mysupermarket states 42 washes.)

Another vote for Formil from Lidl.
We all have sensitive skin and have no probs with their non-bio.

I've started using the Enrituals range that I found in MrT's. I buy the liquid one, £1 for 22 washes.

Not sure if it is good for sensitive skin, but it smells lovely x
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

I use this seller on eBay. I find that one bag lasts us around 90 days and we do a minimum of 2 washes each day, sometimes 3 or 4. It's excellent powder and we use about 1/2 an egg cup full per wash. At the current price, it works out at just over 9p per day, not per wash - I've never counted the number of washes I've done over the 90 days, but it would be at least 180, probably more like 250.

small note about lidl's formil, in the country where its made it is the top brand out selling the UKs brands.

Does half an egg cup full really get your cloths clean? think I use far to much when using powder
