I am posting on this thread because it is a year old and I still can!
Please ignore the previous content of the thread, I just picked one at random from a year ago.

The reason for my post is there are lots of resurrected threads coming up here and Newbies are posting to them.

The important thing about this board is that the POFA last year & the vcs -v- HMRC appeal decision last month change much of the advice previously given in good faith at the time and may not be relevant today.

Other boards do close threads and, I would contend, this board is one that needs old threads closing down when their time is up.

So come on, board mods, a bit of closure, please, or MSE, allow another person who does care to tidy things up, please.

It will be tough work persuading MSE to make this change. I suggest a 3 stage escalated approach to achieve your aim.
Stage 1
Create a new thread on the site feedback board forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50 and post your message there. Make sure you make it clear you are seeking the change to the sub-board Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking.
Stage 2
Wait a few days then go to the Contact Us page forums.moneysavingexpert.com/sendmessage.php?p=45660182&subject=0 and raise your issue there. You will receive a Ticket Number, just like a POPLA code! You will need this for the next step.
Stage 3
Now you can go to forums.moneysavingexpert.com/sendmessage.php?subject=5&form=escalation with your ticket number where you will get a hearing by a decision maker from the MSE senior forum team.
