There must be a space between firefox and -p. If you're not sure, copy and paste the command exactly as I posted.

OK have done that, but it is only giving me what I have got as my post #21

All I get now when trying FF is a white page, even trying to access my bookmarks from my desktop only results in Mozilla blank page!

  • Did you click 'Create Profile'?

This is to make sure FF itself works. You'll then have to import your bookmarks and other settings from the old profile,

  • Start - Run: firefox -p
Create Profile to run new profile wizard. Enter a new profile name.
    Start Firefox with new profile.

If you are and nothing is happening I would uninstall FF via Add or Remove Programs. Then reboot and reinstall FF and import your bookmarks.

Yes I am, re my post above and your suggestion about uninstalling, well I lose my bookmarks?

Where would I import the bookmarks from if I uninstall?

You won't lose your bookmarks if you uninstall and reinstall. You import them from a file called bookmarks.html in your old profile folder. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder for the location of this folder.
