Huge virtual hugs to Willowbee, I think that the post from the Argan Oil people comes under the category of "best form of defence is attack". Bearing in mind the huge counterfeit business that operates in the fields of consumable goods, beauty and even medicine/drugs, I applaud you for bringing your concerns to your friends here in as tactfull and guarded a way as you could. Don't let the b*ggers get you down. xx

P.S. I did not purchase this box.
yeah hugs to willowbee, have not bought this oil so no interest but people should be able to talk about things without being attacked on here!

HappyTorty - Ha! How brilliant to be able to get Advantage Points when buying a fridge :T

I always try boots kitchen site first when i need something as prices generally good plus the advantage points.
  • Hi All,

I've been off the board for a while, sorry to see there has been some drama and hope that everyone is feeling better and can reinstate this thread to the happy place it usually is!

I have INs - but for OH. He doesn't hoard like me so when he ran out of shower gel and shaving foam I had to buy him more. From the pound shop though! (Went to Boots first & even with 3for2 it was more expensive).

got myself some deodrant which was needed. Used up massive S&G shower gel and have moved onto a travel size anatomicals one. Decided to start UU travel sizes before moving onto next bottle.

Feel like I am on a roll at the moment using things up, another 2 yesterday :j

Elemis pro-radiance cream cleanser - wnba, this cleanser was nice but I really just want a nice foaming cleanser that washes off without having to use cloths etc.

Gok Wan Liquid Gold Body Wash - wba, lovely scent and lasted well.

    You girls have been busy!!

First and foremost, hugest hugs to Willowbee & Scrappie. Everybody here has said the nicest things, which I totally agree with!

No idea what the rep wrote re: the oil, and I don't care. I trust you guys over a company any day!

    Happy belated birthday Carolyn :)

Itzybitzy, epic INs as usual ;)

I'm having a few down days myself, and not really wanting to do very much (which is carp as I have tonne of things on my to-do list)! I'm saying now, that I will try my utmost to work out & take advantage of the two Debs offers on their beauty awards winners. And I don't think I'm going to feel guilty for very long afterwards!!

I used to use the Maybelline one ages ago I think before they brought the L'oreal one out but found it a bit flaky and prone to going a bit patchy if that makes sense. Much prefer the L'Oreal one, doesn't seem as thick and goes on more smoothly. The coverage is great. L'Oreal sometimes do giveaways when you spend so much on their products, a bit like No. 7 often do and that usually includes a small tube of Matte Morphose but I haven't seen that on for a while. I've seen them knocking around on Ebay so that might be a good place to look - I think they're around 7ml and given that full size is 20ml, its a really good amount of product to try it out. Hope that helps, although I think I spotted another post saying you'd uncovered a bottle of foundation in your undies drawer! :rotfl:

thanks for that! It was put on my to try list for when I see it on offer or am able to get a try of it. Can you imagine how much I laughed when finding it in with my undies? I must have lost my mind that day to put it in there :rotfl:
