I realised I had a few INs I forgot to mention:

2 x shaving gel: on special offer - needed some and this was the best offer I could find.

3 x heat barrier for hair: again, needed some as had run out, and was passing Boots with a 3 for 2 offer. I was going to buy 3 of the same type, but then I realised that it was mix 'n' match across all the ranges and realised that it was a golden opportunity to try out several varieties and find a really good one as I've only ever tried the Tresemme one, and I'm not sure if that really made a difference or not.

I'm not counting any of the above as INs as I genuinely needed to products and they absolutely will get used: I've just bought them in the most MSE way I know how, and if that's not the best thing about this whole thread, then I don't know what is!

That's why we encourage a stash list happytorty. Not to do with us being nosy :D! It's always amazing when you total everything up and see just how much stuff you have!

I originally wasn't going to have a list, but you gals seem to have motivation with one so decided I would at least have a go. After finishing the list I was definitely shocked in to taking part in this thread properly - even found things I forgot I had! :o

Of course, why would any of us be nosey? It isn't in our nature....at all.. :rotfl:

today my back door(into kitchen where I usually spend most of my time is being replaced......why do I manage to get things done on the coldest day of the month?????,hopefully all will be finished today(except for the broken pane of glass upstairs which is a pain:rotfl:as cannot put bedrooms straight yet:(had a brainwave in bed last night about moving into spare room as now nice and warm with new windows and nearer bathroom(good idea as you get older:rotfl:) but no wardrobe in there(mind you my wardrobe is not in our room anyway)just need to tell DH:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
going to open gardens yesterday was not a good idea as cold and hail:(:(:(:(but good time at dancing with a lovely couple, the wife was 70 but so full of life I think there is hope for me yet:rotfl:
hopeing to do PYNM as mine are looking the worst for wear, would love it if my SSB box would arrive but no more news on that:(:(:(
  • Hello all - just catching up with the posts - had a fab day yesterday with DDs - took them to see Shrek the musical - we had cheap seats but when we got to the theatre we were told that we were being upgraded -to the front row of the stalls :D - they were amaaaaazing seats. Have warned DDs not to get too used to having such great seats!! The show was really good - really funny, the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon, although DDs did get some funny looks on the train as they were wearing their Shrek ears!!!:rotfl:

Was saved from a NPI as the L'Occitane shop in Covent Garden is closed for refurbishment - boo but also good too as I know I would have been tempted (esp with almond offer - I agree with you all about the almond oil but have several in my stash :D) and I have several INs to declare as it is:

    From my LIB box:
    Emma Hardie face serum
    L'Occitane divine cream
    AD Skin synergy night treatment
    Eve Lom rescue mask
    Miners keepin it teal nv

    From my Amarya box:
    Argan oil
Jurlique purely white skin brightening day cream
    Evolve protein build conditioner

    And some OUTs:

Liz Earle botanical essence 2ml - WBA as I love this for the Summer. It reminds me a bit of Eau dynamisante - very fresh and green smelling. Probably won't buy this year as have my Summer Grace on order but probably next year I will buy more of this.

Emma Hardie plumping serum - WBA - wasn't sure about this at first as it seemed a bit runny but I love the way it sinks in and doesn't leave your face feeling all sticky. Have 2 more 10ml tubes in my stash thanks to LIB offers....

Sanctuary moisture boosting mask - thanks Easter Bunny. Liked this - strange sensation as it was very cooling but did leave skin feeling really soft. Have loads of masks still in my stash so WNBA at the moment but would definately try more from this range

Liz Earle skin repair normal - WBA as I use this as my neck cream (tip from a Beauty Bible ages ago). However, no need to stock up yet as I have plenty left in my stash!

    Have a good week everyone

Does anyone know if the L'Occitane almond shower oil has SLS in it? I'm guessing it would but don't know if it's worth trying it just to see if it helps my skin?

  • Hello everyone,

April is being a slow month for UU for me, there are loads of things on their last legs which just refuse to give up!

    2 UU for today though:

BS Super Volume mascara, this was a small size from a face palette and I was pleasantly surprised as I wasn't expecting much from the BS (who knew I was a mascara snob :rotfl:) Possibly WBA when I have worked my way through the stash of GWP mascaras, so next year at the earliest!

Avon Solutions Pure Pore Fection compact powder - WNBA, this was discontinued years ago but I have only started trying to properly use it up because of this challenge. It didn't do much anyway, I was always shiny again by about 10 o'clock!

Also my Ins from the weekend.

Went to the L'Occitane shop to buy one of the new lip balms, it's not that I need a new lip balm but this was my 'reward' for not buying the TSV on QVC last month. The thing that was tempting me most about the TSV was the lip balms but I really don't need more shower gels or hand cream so in a way this saved me about £40, is anyone else following my sort of logic? :rotfl:

They also gave me 2 sachets of moisturiser in the shop as well.

    Another uu for me

Decleor Prolagene Body Gel, wnba - I didn't really like the feeling of this going on but I persevered with it just to use it up.
