I'm going to enjoy seeing all the petrol stations re-stock and open again and then have no customers because they are all driving around full0

Don't be so sure, an AA patrol spotted a 75 year old woman fill twenty one-gallon paint tins with petrol as well as a tray of jam jars.
I refer to the case of the stupid woman who thought it was a good idea to decant petrol into a jug in front of a gas cooker that was switched on (I have no sympathy for her whatsoever).
The sheeple are hoarding as much fuel as possible. Monkey see, monkey do.0 -
I watched in disbelief once (years ago) when I drove past a woman parked opposite a petrol station, she had a 5 litre plastic motor oil bottle which had no oil in it (hopefully), that she had filled up with petrol presumably from said petrol station, she was standing by her petrol filling neck and pouring the petrol into the neck..... of course the little sprung gate flap on the neck will have been closed, because all the fuel was pouring out of the neck, running down the side of her car and she was standing in a very large pool of petrol.
I am not a selfish person so I casually commented something to her I can't remember exactly but probably something like this
"that a petrol fuel can would be better"
I think she replied they (the petrol station) did not have any
I think it was her tone of voice and choice of words that made me continue on with my own life without any further suggestions from me....had she said "Oh could you help me please" I would have been more than happy to solve the problem one way or another0 -

Ah, the good old days.
When you could run out of petrol, find a used oil can in the garage dustbin you'd walked to, fill it up, and make a funnel from a piece of cardboard.
And still have change from a fiver.
Although, last time I had to do that, I paid less for the gallon than I do for a litre now.
And I can afford a full tank each time I fill up now, and own a proper petrol can.0
