EXPIRED thorntons continental eggs...glitch

on offer this weekend Continental with 12 chocs(also just the vienesse ons) from £9.99 to £6.66 ...go through the MOBILE site and the 2 for £8 offer kicks in(saves £5.32 off two eggs making them £4 each ) ...you obv have to buy in multiples of 2!!!:)))....bought four for £19.98 delivered...hope it helps someone x

I think I am missing something here. I go through the Thorntons site and there is no 2 for £8 offer & when I put 2 in my basket it is coming up at £6.66 each so I type in Google 'Thorntons 2 for £8' and it brings a different page up with a one day offer but then says no products available - I'm confused as to how I get this offer?

I just tested and it does work. Don't worry about looking for the additional offer just add 2 x deal of the day (33% or whatever it is) and it automatically deducts a further £5 from the basket. If you google mobile thorntons one of the first sites is m.thorntons.c...

I wish I'd been able to share this nugget with the woman in front of me in the queue at Sainsbury's last night - she bought 15 big eggs, including 7 Thorntons, used a load of vouchers (including a £7 off a £70 spend) and the total still came to £53 :eek:.

Me? I'm so MSE, I'd only gone in for a giant cake tin so I can make some panettone this weekend!

I just added 4 to my basket and the 2 for £8 appeared automatically.

Egg comes with 12 continential chocs. Pretty good for £4 as the small box of continental alone which contains 14 chocs is normally £5.99 (see main site). You can buy larger boxes of contintental which are better value though.
