does anybody know if i put a 3 sim card in a nokia 1112 phone, would the sim card work i.e making and receiving calls, texting.

my phone has broken and i need a cheap one in the mean time and this looks ok

any advice?

Have a look on the 3 website to see what cheap payg phone they have, then you'll know if it will work or not, they did have a ZTE phone advertised for £9.99

Netto have the Nokia 1112 on offer on 5 March for £17.99 on Virgin, it does not say if there is any airtime inc with it

just looked then, no cheap phones on there. does anybody know what phones will accept a three sim card and i'm only looking for a cheap phone at the moment

there is a nokia that will, search all posts by me as I have posted an answer to this question before. There is a old Nokia that does work but it is around 1 yr old.

Obviously you need a 3G phone to work on the Three network, the Nokia 6280 is often offfered on half price and free deals so you might pick one of those up cheap
