a moan about school jumpers

I have labelled and relabelled items, iron on and naming pen uniform since my son started school, I check each time I iron it.
Just come to end of pack of labels, any suggestions for good iron on labels that I won't have to re-apply every couple of weeks?
Many thanks for any thoughts
Jane

DS started school last september and i bought him 2 jumpers slightly larger hoping they would last two years in growth. They last 1 term! The cuffs just fell apart and became holey, but my MIL managed to darn them back together. Yet this week i've noticed they are falling apart again and look in a worse state and a couple of holes are emerging on the sleeve of the arms.
If i hadn't have known better i would have said DS was picking threads, but i was warned about this by parents before he started and even one year some of the necklines went.
I've asked the school if they could consider using a more hardwearing fabric, as this is an ongoing problem for many parents.
If not i'll be buying non logo'd supermarket cheapies from now on, my concern with those is if they keep their shape and not go saggy.
You've got no hope if you think that a five year old boy is going to keep a sweatshirt tidy for 2 years!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
DS is six and I'm lucky if he keeps his sweatshirts decent for two weeks. DD managed to keep hers pristine, and DS had quite afew hand me downs after her, but it's a good job he's my youngest because none of his could be handed down. It's not helped by the fact that they are pale blue in colour, which show every stain, although some of the mums are trying to get the school to allow royal blue jumpers as well. DS plays football every playtime with his boys and spends more time on the floor than on his feet. He comes out of school every day absolutely filthy.
Can't say I've ever had a problem with their stuff going missing. Hooded jumpers with names on the back have been the height of fashion for the last few years and they never go missing!
JxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0
