Virgin media - how long can i wait for installation

I know it's a how long's a piece of string type question but i would like to roughly know how long from ordering virgin do you get it installed.

On the website it says you must book a slot no more than 10 days away. I'm guessing my prefered date may be altered.

I'm considering having the phone, broadband, & tv with them.

I was hoping to order it early next week and get them in to do it the week after. Does this sound reasonable.

The current owner of the home has Virgin broadband..

Well, I got my TIVO box installed mid december and I had to wait 3 weeks after I ordered it.

BUT I'm guessing the demand might have dropped a little since then and also they might give brand new customers priority?

I guess it really depends on the demand at the time of your order.....

It depends on what type of jobs are booked (one man or two man) & the workload for that week.

Thanks for the replies.

The installation is booked in for next thursday.

Went through quidco for the £142.50 cashback.

Just had mail through the door saying they are doing half price for 6 months (on friday it was 3 months), so i phoned to change to that and they agreed. Just hoping it won't affect cashback.
