Help please, unlocked phone SIM issue

I just put an orange SIM into an unlocked phone that previously had an O2 SIM in it, because the orange SIM's phone just packed up. The screen on the unlocked phone says "Vodaphone IN" - Could anyone tell me why please? I have managed to ring 453 and check my balance though, so it seems to be working properly.
