    Don't install any software on your Office computer - your IT Manager will go beserk!!

    Actually thinking about it I can't really believe that the office pc does NOT have Word on it so I think some of the other posts are right and it is a font problem.

    What exactly is on your office pc in terms of word processing? it would go part way to explaining why you can't view the document properly.

  • If you find it is not the font then try the following:

    When saving the document at home in microsoft works click the drop down below where you would enter the file name and change it from a microsoft works file to a word 97+ file. This should format it into a version that Word on your office machine can open.
