Hi:
Does anybody know of a way to unlock a T630, which is apparently the same as a T610. Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Ash

the newer s/e phones are rsa protected which may need reflashing after removing the protection with the terminator dongle.
if its on voda you can get code for about £16
or if youve got a t28 cable you can unlock here for £8 (£15 if you also need a cable):

This sounds more daunting than it actually is.

If the OP gets a Terminator Dongle, I'm sure they'll be surprised at how easy it is to flash an RSA protected T630.

Cheers everyone. This does all sound a little daunting, and, as it will only need doing once, will I be better off just going to the phone shop and paying them a couple of quid? Otherwise I have to buy a cable etc which will then just be more clutter. Is there definately no remote unlocking/codes available - I would much rather support a fellow MSE'er if nessesary, than line the pockets of the extorcinate phone shops.

Could I perhaps borrow somebodys cable for the postage cost and buy you a pint?

    Cheers

I already had a T28 data cable and recently bought a log file off ebay for around £6.50 to unlock a T-mobile contract T630 purchased from the carphone warehouse online, however I should have waited for the phone to arrive before buying because it was unbranded & unlocked stock!

If anyone wants this log file they can have it for a fiver.

    Cheers,
    JB.
