So I guess the next step, reading between the lines is what used 1200 units in 90 days?

The past 24 hours has not really been any different from a normal day, with just 2 units reported used. Now 2259 compared to yesterday's 2257.

On the contrary, this week has been exceptionally warm for the time of year, with record temperatures for March.

The house has 3 zonal controlled areas (3 floors), each with their own temp settings. The general temp settings across the house is 21.

Thanks for responding. What are the heating timeclock settings?

Set into manual mode. We just switch on when cold, so normally 2-4 hours a night (so average about 3 hours) where it keeps the temp around the 21 / 21.5 area.

Welcome to the forums nitram78 :)

I’m glad that you’ve been getting some help with your big bill, I’ve come in a little late but it does seem to me that there’s a lot of gas use over the last 3 months.

It’s great that you’re keeping an eye on your meter readings, if you call and speak to one of our Energy Efficiency advisors they’ll be able to help you figure out why you’ve used so much and give you some help in preparing for next winter.

If you still have the bills from last year that our representative used to calculate your quote, they can also use the meter readings on there to help determine if your use has increased.

In terms of the £65.00 we quoted being too low, this could be down to you using more. It’s also worth noting that as your electricity prices went down in February, I expect that they went up in September too. This will be reflected in the amount you need to pay.

Hope this helps a little but do give the experts a call, they’ll be happy to help :)
