Happy birthday Perni!!!!
xxx 0 -
Well... I was given 2 days off from work so not in until Monday yippee!!! I requested leave ages ago and was told there was no cover - but something came up and here I am - free to enjoy the sunshine!!!

Sometimes being off work can be more of a temptation to spend than being in... so I am determined to be productive... So far:
:starmod: Go to the gym - haven't been in aaaages!
:starmod: Do some cheap home cooking. Made a barley & veg casserole and a thick vegetable soup. Yum.
:starmod: Get laundry up to date
Still to do:
:starmod: Fill out my expense claim form for the agency I volunteer for
:starmod: Walk into town to collect a couple of things (resist spending!!!). I did spend... 24 stamps BUT only because they are going up next month from 46p to 60p so i saved erm £3.36 really! You can keep using old ones so long as they say 1st on them (or 2nd).
:staradmin: Change bed and vacuum house for family visit tomorrow.
:starmod: Change the heating timer to minimum to save money!!!
Good luck everyone!!! x

Afternoon All!!!!!
I apologise for being MIA lately! Life gets in the way!
Had a lovely walk on the beach with my Mum and her dog this morning - Mum bought a years pass for the beach for £115. Sounds a lot but to park by our beaches in the summer is about £6 a time. It isn't tied to a particular car so she said we can borrow it when needs be!
Today
Hour and a half walk
Drink 1.5l of water

Check banking
Surveys
Mushroom soup and hm rolls for lunch
Update fitness pal

Am on NSD 3 - unheard of for me! and yet I have met with friends twice this week for lunch (one was a picnic & another was a lunchtime walk) have been to a lunchtime concert (classical chineese emsemble), have been to a lecture and am meeting my best friend for a catch up in an hour. Will take flask of home made latte for us. Just goes to show with a little effort the best things in life come for free
lunches are becoming very interesting though. Today I have a little cambells cream of mushroom soup - lo from a pasta bake earlier in the week, added milk to make it more than a mouthful and the last slice of tomato tart out of the freezer
High-five to you both euronorris and DNMS you are both truly inspiring. Your lunchtimes, lectures and concerts sound fab DNMS

Happy birthday Perni.................! xxxxxxxxxxxxNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
OK, update from me:
[STRIKE]- Bring in own lunch (have it with me!)
[/STRIKE]
- Put bins out for collection This was done also. The strikethrough has disappeared.
[STRIKE]- OH is continuing with cleaning/wiping the old laptop for me today!
[/STRIKE]- [STRIKE]Prepare lunch for tomorrow (veg soup)
[/STRIKE]- [STRIKE]Have a nice home made meal for dinner (from stores) - I'm thinking baked potato with half a corn on the cob (cos we have one left that needs to be eaten), and half a chicken breast each
[/STRIKE] It was jacket and beans in the end. Chicken still needed to defrost, so will have something with the chicken and corn on the cob tonight instead
[STRIKE]- Do some dish washing
[/STRIKE]- Put clean clothes away
- Hoover the rugs in living room and in kitchen
- Sweep floors
[STRIKE]- Dig out the hayfever tablets - must remember this!
[/STRIKE] Can't find any! Boooo! Have to call docs for prescription then
[STRIKE]- LSD! (I only need to get some apples and bananas on way home from work)
[/STRIKE]- Drink lots of water again (instead of nasty, evil diet coke) FAIL! I succumbed to the diet coke at lunchtime!
- Tidy the coins around the apt into the change jar I forgot all about this!
Alright, onwards and upwards! It's Friday! Thank God! I'm so tired, I think I will sleep until noon tomorrow (in reality, I'll probably wake up at 9! lol).
Thanks Ziggy. Not really inspiring, just doing what I said I'd do for a change! :rotfl:Helps to have it written down, otherwise I forget!February wins: Theatre tickets0
