    Bought school shoes today. My local independent shoe shop has a loyalty scheme. Buy 6 pairs of shoes and get £20 voucher for your next shop. With 6 kids, it doesn't take long, so used a voucher today, meaning one pair was only £8 :)

    :eek::eek: School shoe shopping must be a right nightmare in your house! :eek: I moan at my two scuffing their's constantly so can't imagine it x3!

    Hey, does anyone believe in those clarvoyants? (can't spell it sorry) my DH went to see one on Monday what one of his family got him for his birthday and it was really FREAKY some of the stuff that got said. His Grandad came through who we lost 3 years ago and mentioned loads of stuff which only my DH would ever know. He came out really freaked out but it's most definately set him to peace about it quite alot already, he's like a different person straight away this week. Since we lost his Grandad he's never really been the same, he almost brought him up you see so was more like loosing his Dad :(

    Sorry, so morbid, i'm digressing. Anyway, just wanted to share about the clarvoyance thing cos it's made me quite happy to see the DH is now at peace with it all :o Reason I thought of it was because the clarvoyance man said we'd have more kids in the future. :D I think I do want more but I've never done anything about it because I know we can't afford it. I'll see how I feel in a years time and decide then, I'll still only be 28 so plenty time to make my mind up.

    xx

    Hey Everyone,

    Struggling to keep up at the moment, life is getting in the way :o. The snow hasn't helped things, although it's just about gone here now :). Can't believe it has snowed in April!!! :eek:

    Anyway, £3.27 to add from a small ebay sale.
  • I'm not sure if I signed up this month. If I didn't, then I'd like to please, and am going to aim for £300.

    I've made £55.74 tonight from Bingo (and will have tracked cashback but won't add that until its paid in a few weeks), but will put down £51.20 profit as I bought a Kindle book for myself as a wee treat!

    So on track so far! £51.20/£300

    scottishspendaholic Xxx
    MBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
    Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
    Bank of Scotland = £2,782.83
  • Sweets thats great news about the clairvoyant. Regardless of belief its put you and your DH in a happier place and that has to be a good thing. Personally I love that kind of stuff, though would never take it as gospel that what they say will come true. That said, theres been so many times I have been told something that seems super random at the time but then comes true that its impossible not to believe there is something in it.

    On a money front my lovely sister came for tea and left £20 as she went. She's got a good job and no kids so she can afford it but its still a wonderful gesture which I appreciate very much.
    Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

    Lolly, I went camping with the girl guides many, many, many years ago...... in April...... it snowed so heavily, we had to abandon our tents and sleep in a big cabin!

    Sweets, I believe in tarot, clairvoyants, etc.

    But like PLMBL says, not everything they say comes true. Life changes, circumstances change, etc, life takes a different path to the one they may have seen, etc.

    I used to see a tarot guy about once a year, and he told me things that definitely did not come true, but he also told me stuff that did. He also told me things that others had told me and there was no way he could have known.

    My friend went to the Sally show, the clairvoyant who tours the country, and she was hoping for someone to come through, and someone totally different came through. it blew her away, but put her at ease as to what she was told.

    So if things are meant to be.... we may see more baby sweets :)

    But good to hear DH is feeling more settled in himself.
  • Added another 15p from a survey and £22.80 from my 2nd job. Would my £1.40 in tips count? Clearly, I'm not as charming as I think I am from the punters side of the bar! :rotfl:

    Have signed up to swagger my way to extra bucks but still got to find a bit of time to make sense of their website - a job for Friday morning when I'm off me thinks.

    Joined the challenge before I remembered we were away to visit Ds & family, so wasn't able to start earning!
    However, arrived, 'down south!' Friday - mid petrol panic, so on Saturday their local Asda had fuel so DH filled up my car, leaving me, now we are home, with enough fuel for this week plus, so, I'll count that as £15:j
    Last night, neighbour came to the door with 2 huge fresh trout for us, I guess that's worth at least a £5 as it will do 2 x meal for 2.

    Tonight, Quiz night at local, we didn't win, but won bonus round, a round of drinks, so I reckon another £5.50 between me & DH:T.

    Oh nearly forgot, 20p roadkill!
    So, despite not really trying, haven't done too badly as yet.
