It's a fab collective of people we've got here, and it's lovely to see some new faces every month as well.

    Hi all,

Fell behind with the thread already due to being at in-laws since Saturday. Will try and catch up tonight but me and DH are going on a weekend away tomorrow afternoon and won't be back until Saturday.. it's for our 7th anniversary and was off groupon, how very MSE of me :D It's in the middle of nowhere so prob won't have internet so will be back on on Saturday.

Nat just wanted to say take no notice some people just consider it their business to comment on things which are F all to do with them. I find I had alot of comments when mine were younger because I was a young Mum but no one would ever dare say anything to me now cos I'd bite their heads off to defend myself. Take no notice. You should NEVER feel like you need to explain yourself to ANYONE. (Especially the people what have no impact whatsoever on your life and are just sticking their noses in cos there's no entertainment in their own lives) I think it's a lovely girly name anyway for what it helps. As your daughter gets older I'd teach her to stick her tongue out if anyone says anything similar, then they can go to bingo and tell all their old pals that a youth nearly killed them, or something of the sort.

NO NO NO NO NO. Don't sell the vouchers on eBay.

My friend did this, they all went for more than face value. A few hours after she e-mailed them the codes the buyer told eBay their account had been "fraudulently used" and Paypal issued them a refund, AND the vouchers were used.

I'm totally up for selling them - maybe advertise to friends and family, Facebook, Twitter, etc. I sell a lot of my vouchers at work for a little less than face value.

You can sell electronic vouchers on eBay but always make sure that you say that you will post the code so that you have proof of posting - puts buyers off doing exactly what emmaglet's friend has found :)

So sad that people will rip people off this way :(

Thanks for the tips guys :)

Some old codger upset me today. He was making my daughter laugh who was sat in her pushchair. He asked me what her name was and I told him. He looked at me like I was a moron and said 'Fifi? What kind of a stupid name is that, poor kid. She'll grow up to be one of those gay's with a name like that' and then walked off. Her name is Sofia but we've always called her Fifi. I've had a few people comment on her name, not in a good way, upsets me because I love her name and so does she!

Aw bless his little discriminatory socks ;) There's a wee girl near us called Pocahontas (I kid you not) and her last name is Pirrie. And I tell you what, naebody messes wi' Pokey Pirrie! It's funny isn't it what people think!? I have an Elizabeth and a Madeleine and people try to shorten them all the time but they hate it, especially Mad  As my dad says, there's nowt as queer as folk :D
